Nope! The two teams Pewitt have beat this year are 1-7. World beaters. In saying that they should've beaten them. I am impressed at how easily it seems they did it. Like I said though the kids they had coming back should win against teams like that and be in or win the games like Arp. Still a long season and we will see how the new guy does in the future.

You are correct they don't have the talent they use to have that's evident!! But they should be better than 3-7 with the kids they had coming back! Talent drops off some more after this year, it happens! Realist I am. Just like I know it's real that Jefferson isn't very good this year and NB has the same problem Pewitt had last year. Happy for the kids but I also believe that they would be better if they were still running the slot t. That's the point. Pewitt shouldn't be 3-7 and battling for the 3rd and 4th spot with the kids that they had coming back!!! Pewitt is not in a rebuilding year!! They had 9 kids coming back on defense from last year!!

Pull them up!! The kids Pewitt had coming back were going to be really good!! Last year they were in the same boat that it sounds like NB is in right now. It cost Kumrow. New guy comes in loaded with some kids that can play and they should win some games. I still believe that with these kids running the slot they would have hammered arp. Waskom not so much. The last two weeks they've turned the corner it seems but two very poor teams were playing them. These kids are a result of kumrows off seasons since they were in 7th grade. New guy is getting a lot of credit for a car he didn't build. He should win with the kids he has.

You are probably right! Next week at halftime let's see if you post something on Smoaky. You will hopefully be making adjustments coach! Played two decent teams and got whipped and then played two poor teams and win big. This week will show how much progress the offense has made.

They will be running against 9 in the box and only 5 to block them though if you don't throw it but 1 out of 10 plays.

Didn't they bring back most of the defensive players from last year? I believe that's been the point about the slot t versus the spread. With the defense they have and running the slot you don't have to score a lot. Your offense goes 3 and out and run 1 minute off the clock causes your defense not to be as good and you have to keep up scoring wise.

They have maybe a down NB team and obviously a good Mineola team left before they get into the easy part of the schedule. HS may still be the front runner but everyone else seems to be average at best. Has an opportunity to Get them rolling. Jury is still out in my opinion.

So they've done what Pewitt has done for 20 years??? How many passes did they throw? So does Pewitt have more picks on the year than receptions?

So what did the Bulls do different tonight? Run the ball more? Put a defense on the field? Cover punts? Jefferson any good? Either way a win is a win.

Honestly don't have a clue. I was not there. I would think HS. I'm just guessing that by scores that Pewitts defense may be better than HS defense but the offense is terrible and doesn't give Pewitt a chance to really be in a game. HS will have the offense to keep them in every game. HS 35-29

I've still yet to understand how someone says the past doesn't matter but they use a year for their user name. The past must be significant for some reason. 1988 was the only time HS went past the 3rd round right??

I will thanks! We can look all time with Pewitt if you want?? Pewitt has won more playoff games than HS has played in. Haven't bashed a Pewitt kid yet. I will continue to bash the coaches and some of the fans because the way things were and are being done there now.

HS hasn't just been playing world beaters in the past ten years. Win a lot early and then lose early in the playoffs. In saying that yes the Bulls will take their lumps but they may be able to get the 1a teams on the schedule soon!! Then go 8-3 like HS year in and year out. Didn't realize Waskom had won that many games in their history. Played against the 92 Waskom squad and they were salty. Actually they should have won. Kid was about to score a touchdown but threw the ball through the back of the end zone before he crossed the goal line. Gave us the ball. We had to score on a two point conversion to win it with maybe a minute to play.
