Watched em play GW. They are redefining what a down year looks like. They are down way more than a bit, by anybody's standard. If Gilmer turns the ball over 8 times, they may have a chance.

What D1 moveins did Gilmer have in 2004 and 2009 when they went undefeated and won state titles? Having D1 moveins does not automatically = state titles. They don't even = deep playoff runs (cough, cough, 2006). What you really need is a TEAM of players that make the most of what they have and play very well together.

Kevnasty was always funny to read. He was so serious ... seriously deranged in his blind faith in his Tigers. Made me sad when Jakebrake got banished for a while. Franks&Beans knows his stuff, but I seem to recall him going into retirement from Smoaky. Need some new blood from Dfield to mess with us this week.

Did Tatum have a movin for Flag Corp? :unsure: I am no authority on Flag Corp performance, but that kid actually made it look respectable.

Demarco Boyd would be scary running the wildcat. Spears probably be QB, but there will be young talent already in the pipeline to challenge for the spot.

Both teams showed they have the goods and it was a great game. Gilmer had a lot of sloppy play in the second half and will need to clean that up. Tatum was able to seize the momentum and make for a exciting finish. For those who were not able to see the game in person, I will not say anything about the officiating, except, it is what it is.
