  1. Cannot wait to read what the rest of ya'll have to say about the pitiful second half by the Buckeyes.  You DO NOT take your foot off the gas, until your side of the scoreboard reads "42".  I understand slowing the game down and burning clock, but failing to make first downs and allowing Graham to dare dream of the upset in the second half was hard to watch, especially after the brilliant first half of play by the Buckeyes.  We have been a 2nd half team, just about all year, but not tonight.  Lots to work on this week.

You getting suspended for posting this is PC Gone Wild.   Freaking country has gone crazy.

The first thing I noticed, before the game even started, was LJB had no class.  That's my opinion.  Other folks are entitled to their opinions, but if you want to lose support for sporting events, at all levels, keep making it about something else.

Why is LBJ not saying the exact same thing. They score at will and give up copious amounts of points.  Both teams are mirrors of each other. Are they not? Over is probably 110.

Lindale could slow down and shorten the game with discipline and patience, but yeah, giving the ball to Jenkins and telling him not to try and score every time he touches the ball is kinda counter intuitive.

  4. Ashton Haynes has truly been a gift this playoff run.  He reminds me of the many Kilgore running backs we see on a regular basis, who just slice right through opposing defenses, over and over and over again and make it look easy.  To look at Haynes, physical build does not grab your attention, but holy cow can he run the football.  Hats off to that young man.  Looking forward to his additional 2 years as a Buckeye.

  5. We all expect Caddo Mills to be super charged up, especially after their big win last week.  Hoping the Buckeyes come out energized, focused and determined.  I expect Gilmer to take the win and advance, but turnovers on offense or too many self-inflicted, drive killing penalties while on offense or generous PF or UC penalties while on defense, will tilt the game in favor of CM.  The task of winning the game will be hard enough for the Buckeyes, without giving CM any "helping hands" to beat us.

Gilmer has too many Horses for Caddo. Caddo's dream season will come to an end this week. Dont think it will be Close. Gilmer 49- Caddo Mills 27

Gilmer will still have to slow down Caddo Mills offense.  Our defensive intensity has been down, since the PG game.

Can Kilgore slow down the running game and score enough points? I say Lindale by 10 in a pretty good game. Parents and my wife are from Kilgore, so I’m pulling for the dogs. Not sure they will have enough.

This is exactly what I was thinking, while watching EF get run over by PP, all night tonight, by the big running back who was running roughshod over the Yellowjackets.  Just did not believe that EF brought enough to the game to halt PP.  However, they were just letting that big running back tire his big body out, because in the fourth quarter they finally were able to stop him and squeak out the win.

This should be a good one. I'll say CM by a score

Buckeyes have a lot to clean up in their game, if they want to advance past this game with Caddo Mills.  Playing better and better teams through the playoffs does not allow margin for errors and extreme number of penalties we are still seeing.  Should definitely be a good game between two very good teams.
