How is the QB position looking this year in Gilmer?

Do these new schools start with all 4 high school classes the first year or just a Freshman class? If only Freshman, it could be that the football team starts all Freshmen the first year and by the 4th year they have, well 4 years of experience playing varsity ball. That's my guess.

This is where turnovers, luck and experienced Senior leadership usually swings the momentum and score one way or the other in playoff games. This SHOULD be a great game. I'm really excited to be able to see it in person and expect a close, hard fought game, but won't be surprised if the 3-headed monster allows one team to pull away. Our Jekyll & Hyde Buckeyes need to show out tonight and play a complete and mistake free game. We know we have the talent and we know our foe is formidable and possibly even more talented. Give it your very best shot Buckeyes and you will KNOW that we are there behind you tonight. Good luck to all teams still playing and safe travels to all fans and supporters.

Honestly, many, including me, have an uneasy feeling this year about how far this team can (could) go. Bux are not blowing teams out this year (ignore that Mexia beatdown). There's a much different atmosphere at the Gilmer games, as fans seem to sense the swagger and bravado is not justified this year and not sure how far to stick the old chest out. Yes, I hear ya, they ain't the same Gilmer team we are used to seeing, but they have so far exceeded most folks expectations and have the experience with coaching staff and players to keep it rolling.

The crazy thing about that game was Cooper had Superstar RB Bam Morris. The buildup and hype failed to match reality that night.

Looks like Gilmer might be the underdog this week, since Center is getting 60% of the votes so far.

Gilmer will "see" Center's #44 and "raise" them a Bux #5. Demarco is like a Tasmanian Devil, on both sides of the ball.

I'm hoping Gilmer don't buckle up. I would much rather the Bux play loose and focused rather than tight and mistake prone.

They are probably trying to figure out a place that is gonna be warmer than Corsicana was last time around.

Only thing keeping Sanger from being completely blown out is penalties by LE. Last week Gilmer had the turnover bug and this week LE has the penalty bug. They need to shake it off.

TD LE, finally. Still making WAY too many penalties. 14-0 with 8:58 left in the first half.

LE is stuffing Sanger. Sanger giving LE a short field repeatedly. The Leopards need to start cashing in on their opportunities. LE had the ball all but about 2 minutes of the first quarter.

LE fumbles deep in red zone. LE racking up LOTS of penalties early.
