But with the exceptional tallent we have in our neck of the woods, It's humbling to see how really difficult it is to make it to the next level of play when only two players from East Texas made these lists. It's quite the honor.

I think Whitehouse's Cantrell and JT's Ross were the best I saw this year. There are plenty of others in East Texas who could play at the next level.

Lindale has already lost some 2012 starters due to school transfers. That's not good for the program.

I know. It will be a uphill battle for Lindale.

I think we can beat either Jacksonville or Corsicana. There wasn't that much difference in our teams this year although we did lose both games. Now JT and WH had much better teams so it will be tougher based on 2012 results. I'll have to watch 7 on 7 closely to see if we have a good chance at being in the top three.

Good call on Coach Ward. Pretty impressive year for his program. Congratulations to all the players on the team.

Lindale prediction. IMHO Lindale will continue to struggle to find a QB to match 4A competition. I like junior QB Nash Walters. He's got a big accurate arm but was bothered by knee injuries last year. I think they have a lot of talent coming back and may surprise the district. They will definitely be playing the underdog role again in 164A but I am predicting a top three finish.
