saturday Dec. 18th 2004 15,000+ of us fans got to watch one of the best state championship games ever played that day at S.F.A stadium. To me its hard to believe a decade has already went by because i remember that beautifull weathered day like it was yesterday! LOL though ironic a Jasper fan would post this, i figured them pesky Buckeyes would enjoy the memory being that they most likely are gonna win another come Friday

wow! todays date makes exactly 10 years since i watched my DAWGS give them pesky buckeyes all they wanted plus some in front of 15,000 + fans at stephen f austin stadium. unfortuantly, time ran out on the DAWGS last drive for the win and they fell short 49-47. amazing to me that a decaded has passed since because i remember it like it was yesterday

LOL! if i end up at jerrys world to watch some football a real hard decision what side to sit on or who to pull for at this game. seeing where i am from most of u could totally understand why. i was fortunate enough to watch gilmer play in one of the absolute best football games for a state title ever! and believe it or not though disappointed i left that stadium that day so happy and proud of our boys for playing like a champion that day even though they lost. anyone who was there that day cant deny that. them buckeyes jumped out with the can of whoop TobinFrost to start game and ended up holding their breath as time ran out on my bulldogs at the end of game. of all sports anywhere how can anything be better than TEXAS HIGHSCHOOL FOOTBALL?!?!?

ok and your point? btw are u aware that newton is going to play for a state title as well? them eagles had a slow rough start to their season but i guarantee u they could/would beat most teams at all levels in the state.

to your point DOB i do agree more so than not for sure. Prime example being (and of course it drove myself and fellow Dawg fans i sit with craazy!) our last two regular season games one at home the other away when there was an offsides the officials would immediatly blow the play dead. Friday night the officials would throw the flag but let play keep going allowing it to be as we football fans call it "free play".

lol. The J Dawgs had the same issue friday night while we were beating up those Stafford Spartans. Literally our left guard #68 had 3 consecutive holding calls one of them negating a beautifull 60 yard td run. where the week the before against kilgore my Dawgs had one penalty the whole game and came in the last couple minutes on a roughing the passer.
