Bad exchange, Paris fumbles inside Argyle 15. This won’t cut it against a #1 team.

I’ll be listening to it on 101.9 in Paris. I tried live streaming the Midlothian game while simultaneously listening on the radio and was pulling my hair out as the live stream was more off than on. With some breaks going Paris’s way along with a couple of turnovers we might come up with an unexpected, heartfelt result.

If Paris gets some turnovers and breaks you never know what will happen. Paris has a fleet of fast talented backs and heavy doses of their sweeps will pump the air out of a defense. Their scrappy undersized offensive line has gelled at the right time. It will be much closer than their district meeting.

I listened on the radio but it seems Melissa couldn’t stop Paris’s sweeps around the ends for long runs. Speed...there’s no substitute for it.

If Paris has a nemesis it is Argyle. They can never seem to get around them. Could this be the time?

Great win for a low income town with a big percentage minority population. The only 4A Div1 school in the entire 903 area code. I’m a white guy saying this raised in northeast Fort Worth but I’ve been in Paris 25 years now and this town has been very good to me and given my daughter a great education .She is now in Veterinary School at A&M. Go Wildcats!

Paris vs Melissa @ A&M-Commerce. Very handy and convenient place for a playoff game, I always liked that old East Texas State stadium. This tough district is showing its colors.

I know 6A teams at times go across the state and sometimes even to another part of the country to play a pre district game. But I don’t think the lower classifications ever do it, do they? I’d love to see my Paris Wildcats play Brownwood or Stephenville. It’s not all that far. About the same distance on the other side of the metroplex.

Being a local, I knew this subject would raise its ugly head.
