  1. I can’t understand all this “Gilmer ain’t Gilmer and the Gilmer program needs to be overhauled” talk, just because they lost to a Paris team that is now on the upswing and has a football squad to be reckoned with by everybody. It’s no shame anymore to lose to Paris.
  2. Just listening on the radio. It seemed Gilmer faught valiantly defending their home turf and never gave up against overwhelming odds. Hats off to them.
  3. 30-7 Paris...……..9:37 third quarter.
  4. Paris fumbles the kickoff for the second half. TD Gilmer. 23-7.
  5. Halftime....Paris 23 Gilmer 0 Paris had 13 penalties the first half.
  6. Paris 20 Gilmer 0 5:00 2nd qtr.
  7. I wanted to see the Paris team last week so I went. Just my opinion but one aspect that really jumped out at me is that everybody looked just about the same size. A little fluctuation but not much. No big steam rollers up front, but movers. Kind of like the old Tom Landry linemen from the 60’s. Whether that’s good or bad remains to be seen. I can tell you Terrell had much bigger 5A linemen and they flat wore the Tigers out.
  8. Listening on the radio here in Paris they were saying DE and A&M commit Landon Jackson was the difference maker and stayed in Paris ‘s sophomore laden backfield all night. Do these two teams play next year?
  9. ^^^^ I’m a big Paris fan but Hawknation03 I think your assessment and score prediction is dead on in my opinion. Paris perennially has tons of skill and speed but lacks the big hosses up front. I haven’t seen this years team yet however and I hope you and I both are wrong.
  10. LV was just too darn big for Paris or anybody else. It really became a factor in the 4th qtr.
  11. My ears perked up when I read this. Tell us more about the KS and CO move-ins please. I may go to this game just because I'm close.
  12. I expect both to go deep in the playoffs in their respective divisions. Ought to be a whale of a game.
  13. Early in the year Brock lost to Liberty Christian Academy of Argyle 21-0. Who the heck are they? Maybe Realeagle might know.
  14. A knockdown dragout till mid fourth quarter. LV pulls away at the end.
  15. Longview has to get in the backfield quick and cause some disruption. Their QB runs that offense like he’s been doing it his whole life. They have a Purdue commit that can bust free at anytime. I think they’re a team that really jelled at mid-season.
