Well there is quite a dialog going on here. Fortunately the game will be played on the field. We'll see what happens.

Gunter won't stop Mildred, but hopefully they can slow them down some and possess the football and grind out some scores. I have not noticed the pass defense to be weak at all - you give up some yards to teams that throw alot, the key is to limit scoring which they have done very well.

Mildred is the clear favorite but no way I am counting out the Tigers. They have a number of gears and can get downright violently physical in a game. The kicker used to be reliable and for whatever the last few weeks he just can't hit it good. I think he is getting in too big a hurray but what do I know. He can kick 40 yarders all day in warmups but in the games he is just missing the ball and hitting knucklers. Really miss the services of the kickoff guy who kicks high and deep. Hopefully he will be able to take that duty back over next week. Mildred will be faster and maybe bigger, but they will have to take care of a solid Gunter team before they think of Cisco or whoever they play (Holliday?). Gunter has played a ton of playoff games in the last 13 years and won the majority of them so they won't be intimidated. They are really looking forward to the challenge and getting to the semis for the fist time in history - maybe the 3rd time in the quarterfinals is a charm.

Yea there were some that applauded not everyone. I have nothing but respect for Celina's success. You ET posters that talk about Celina's scheduling should go back and look at who they have scheduled over the years. My view is that they consistently schedule up, not down for the most part. Sometimes it takes a while to learn how to win (Henderson) and maybe Celina needs some time to learn how to lose. They sure don't have much experience at it.

Thanks, the RC facility if a very nice venue. No Germans here in Gunter that I know of however........they mostly live further west in Lindsay and Muenster.

What Lone Oak has done the last 2 weeks is amazing and that bunch is obviously a team to be reckoned with. Beating DK was especially impressive. Lone Oak would seem to have the upper hand in this game the way they are playing, but Gunter will be well prepared as always.

FNR is great but they just don't have the infrastructure to handle the traffic. Last night for about half the game the servers were busy and we couldn't post nor get updates.

Wow, Lone Oak has really come alive late. Whooped up on Swoopes then took out a great team in Dekalb. You guys must have been driven to get to the rematch with Gunter. I hope we can make it a game.

The pottsboro team that showed up against paradise will get destroyed. The one that beat Boyd will make it a game.

I've never seen anyone save 10 seats but thats a little excessive. I will save one or two using stadium chairs and blankets but thats it. I always get to games early and I don't want someone to get my seat while I'm in the can. Problem is, how can you tell?

Boyd is plenty battle tested with a win against Gunter and losses to Godley and Pottsboro. Should be a good game.

Sure, Melissa can compete in 3A, they always have good numbers and good players. It will be a while before they can be near the top of 3A, with the likes of Prosper, Celina, and Argyle. cQueen is a good QB but it seems like he is not a very big kid for a college QB, and that could hold him back.

Definitely football. I am exhausted from sweating every pitch of every game and I don't want to see the Rangers blow the series tonight when they had it well in hand last night and let it get away. Looks like the MVP of the ALCS won't be able to play. Well, Holliday not playing either but he hasn't hurt us at all. Carpenter pitching tonight on 3 days rest and it looks like we'll need about 9 runs to win which is unlikely.

It gets overloaded sometimes. A couple weeks ago I couldn't post any scores for a whole quarter - said the server was busy. But its a great ap!

Great ap! Once we get more people posting scores on more games it will be totally awesome. I posted the game I was at, tracked about 6 other games and 3 had scores, the other 3 nobody posted on.

Brilliantly executed, but frankly it was not as open as you would expect and not really an easy throw.
