Any idea how many of those 9 wins are district wins?

Big difference between playing who you choose to play and who the UIL says you need to play.

1 distinct win over quitman lol. How does grand saline after a 1-9 season not want him as AD, but WO allows not only the 0-10 seasons, but the seriously false data on their athletes. If they’re spewing this false info that much it makes you think what lengths they’ll go. School board needs to open the checkbook and hire a great proven program changing coach. With this false info I would cut ties and pay off the contract and start over.

That’s what Ludlow gonna ask after scheduling those 6 man teams and still getting beat. 😂😂

They’re so delusional they’re probably gonna find some kind of positive out of losing to Quitman on their homecoming. I heard from someone that after a game, a person asked them what do u think of our progress after letting up 70+ points in b2b weeks. Whole program has gone crazy. Wo just needs to forfeit the season and hire a proven coach, not one that’s 9-31 in 4 seasons.

We forget about the LE and Sabine qb? Ignorance is bliss. Ludshow 2.0? So another 0-10 after ludshow 1.0 went well? Shouldn’t have even gotten 2nd team all district. Shouldn’t and probably won’t get 2nd team all district this year. White Oak needs to skip football the next few years till some folks there wake up.

I don't think it is necessarily fair to hold a 1st yr coach accountable for the Win/Loss record.  I do think that after a minimum of 2 yrs the results a program is getting falls squarely on the HC and staff.

However, with that being said, in pretty much every interview I heard with Coach Ludlow prior to the season and for the couple of weeks he was doing the "sideline to sideline" podcast during the season, he was adamant about mentioning how young WO is this year.  If that is the case then a team should definitely being trending steadily upward throughout the season as the young team gains experience.  I do think it is fair to hold a new HC accountable for how much a team or program improves throughout the season.

I have seen at least parts (blowouts are just not very entertaining) of several White Oak games but I don't feel I am qualified to comment on how much growth the team has had throughout the season.

@Racer55 @Rouchneck78 @Eagle8 It seems like you guys have seen a lot of WO football this season.  In what specific areas have you seen them improve the most?  I think this is the only really fair gauge of a new HC and staff.  Obviously, the team is not very good overall and this could mainly be due to a lack of talent but if they have been steadily improving then the fan base needs to probably back off of Ludlow a bit if what Rouchneck78 is saying is true.

    Just an outside POV

I’ve said all I’ve wanted to say. I don’t want to beat a dead horse. Here’s to hoping we can show some progress these last couple weeks.

lol come on, everyone including those in WO don't believe they'll a win a game this season.

O/U on WO wins next 5 years combined: 6.5

I don’t know what to think of this year. The coaches get mad when people talk around town. They need to grow up and pick a different job. Nature of the beast. A couple of the 70 point games could’ve been minimized by a run first offense and or running clock that wasn’t asked for. Heck play an ineligible player for crying out loud to get games forfeited. Need to do something. A lot of folks feel the record setting points given up this year could have been minimized. Some old school folks that have contributed to past great teams on and off the field, feel their legacy has been tainted by this staff. You see kids setting up for arm taclkles then miss, not everyone running to the ball, and overall just half speed. It’s a terrible situation, but according to some, the blame falls on the previous staff and or “back biters.”

I believe they are very young and was told that their second string QB may very well be better than the starter but may be playing “daddy ball” over there.

Daddy ball for sure. Also the o line not cut blocking ever is peculiar. Don’t know who the oline coach is, but he has to be soft to not coach that at all.

@Rouchneck78 on a scale from 1 to Damn. How bad is it over there? Any hope at all?

Double damn. Only points scored by us is in trash time and we cant hardly stop a single possession against any team. Just hoping the district teams don’t kick us while we’re down. Have had some good rivalry games with Jefferson, but not this week. The Bulldogs name their score.

Dem necks been sandbaggin. We bout ta go full speed nasty in district! Mark it down!

We’re not all enthusiastic over here in White Oak. I’ve heard there’s more kids in the culinary classes than on the team? Crazy how far white oak has fallen from an oilfield town to a stinkin culinary town. Bring back the old school blue collar folks.

I saw yalls backup. He’s not bad. He’s thrown a couple touchdowns hasn’t he?

When they finally let him throw the ball he seems to be accurate. He only goes in when qb 1 has elbow problems. Coach seams to be blaming receivers for the missed targets and interceptions
