  1. Looks to me like Jefferson has the big head. I guess beating Clarksville and Frankston would do that lol. Did Clarksville even have 12 kids suited up?
  2. RW keeps it close until late in the game HS pull it out by 7.
  3. White Oak and Jefferson’s offense is about the same if I’m not mistaken yet White Oak put up a staggering 21 points each quarter in the first half against HS while the D allowed 12. Jefferson could only muster 14.
  4. I’ll take WO in this game. Their RB has turned out to be a good RB this year. He’s helped take a load off of Hood.
  5. Lol HS fans last year thought they were gonna win every game in district and ended up last. Doesn’t matter who they play they think they’ll win regardless.
  6. # 9 Reddic has gone 79-339 for 3 tds avg of 4.2 a carry in three games and nearly all of them are up the gut between the tackles hand offs. Hood has had 47-296 and 7 tds avg of 6.2 a carry. He’s also gone 66-118 793 5 tds in three games.
  7. I may be stepping on toes with this post but its my honest opinion. White Oak is down this year. They have no size to them. A lot of guys going both ways unlike last year they had multiple people for every spot on the field basically. You can tell when the players going both ways are wore out. First game a lot of cramps going on. Lost most of our wrs and secondary. Lost like 7 or 8 defensive starters I think it is. White Oak lacks speed except for the QB and 2 others run like 4.8&4.7. The RB is a sophomore thats starting to hit the holes pretty hard, & looks to be getting better here and there though. We lost our star OC. Our new OC which I think hes been there a while looks like he likes to run the ball quite a bit sometimes the same plays over and over. Sometimes it looks predictable. White Oak used to be a high powered offense throwing the ball constanly with hood as a true dual threat QB. Now White Oak OC likes to hand the ball off constantly out of the spread, to a sophomore RB up the gut that tends to be highly predictable. Last year they ran a lot of QB draws and run plays with the QB and screen plays and this year they havent. The two main things to be plaguing the offense seems to be WR speed RB speed, Oline not picking up late blitzes, and offensive play calling IMO. Whats plaguing the defense is experience, depth, lack of tenacity by some, and speed. What I mean by lack of tenacity is not everyone seems to be flying to the ball, and a lot of arm tackling misses. The defense has given up something like 154 points in 4 games. The backup qb which is also a WR and DB didnt play in the DF game. Idk when hell be back. WO has some players to be a good team it just seems they arent clicking together as a whole. My honest suggestion is that once the sumrow backup QB gets back they rotate him in with hood either at another RB spot or WR spot as well as rotate him in on defense. I feel he would make an excellent FS and put the current FS back at CB. We need to make some drastic changes on defense if they plan on making the playoffs and even winning in the playoffs. The backup QB can throw the ball good hes just not that fast. Hood can run really well so why not switch them out and see if it works out well. Hoods agility is the best of anyone tested at the combine in the spring hes quicker than Lufkin, Longview, and Sulphur Springs players. I think hed make an excellent WR or RB slot back or wing back or something like that. Also hed probably be a big anchor to a defense that needs some speed.
  8. That Carthage machine looks like it needs some oil or something it ain’t running right.
  9. Pretty bad I'd send it to uil or something that's not good. If I were a coach I'd save this clip and show it to players as a way to teach them to watch their blind spots and understand their are individuals out there that would do stuff like this, so they should always be aware and protect themselves.
  10. How many people will be in attendance? Curious question. What's the capacity?
  11. Yeah they were 2-0 this time last year as well and in the game last year they scored early but dropped off after that. I think SH has a better team this year though.
  12. Yeah NB had a good record this decade the best record in this district before posting a 1-9 season and a 3-7 season the last two years. They fell off, but, I guess it happens sometimes.
  13. Spring Hill 2-0 with wins over Troup and Brownsboro takes on White Oak 1-1 with a win over New Diana and a loss to TK Gorman. White Oak had pulled out a win every year since 2011 I believe. Can they do it again or is SH poised to win this one?
  14. It'll be interesting on here after the game if brownsboro wins by 6 tds lol
