On that Friday night Lee was the better team. Overall JT was more athletic, and faster but Lee won so make all the assumptions you want. No excuses for Lee's schedule, and issues they simply lost 9 games. However they did win one game and that was against a more athletic and faster JT team.

If beating JT 13 out of the last 15 years is a fluke then OK it was a fluke. There were many issues with that Lee team last year that were never known about by the outside world, but it affected team chemistry and yes wins and losses. Look at the win loss over a period of time to determine flukes.

Does anyone know the correlation between winning state in 7 on 7 and then winning state in football? I know if you have the athletes to win state in 7 on 7 then you should be able to put up some numbers on the scoreboard, but that doesn't take into consideration the big boys up front.

Apply at schools you would like to work at. They can get you emergency certified. You could start working as soon as they let you. Then while under emergency certification you go to the region service center or local university and take the education corses required to become certified. Then take your test and whamo you are now an underpaid baby sitter like the rest of us. But coaching is worth it, otherwise I would go back to the REAL world.

Proudpapa- It is always blamed on the playoff brackets, but truth be told you can look at the caliber of athletes and IF you know anything about football you can watch the two teams play other teams and make a fairly educated prediction of how the game will go. True you can not say that it will happen this way or that way, because any team can be beaten any day (just ask Gilmer).

Tatum at 2A is just not fair. Heck at 3A they were tough for as long as I can remember. It's like Alto going to 1A. Just too many weapons and too much speed. Great job Tatum.
