I know USC lost. I love USC. We haven't lost 2 games in a season since 02 and haven't had over a 7 point loss since then. That is why they are considered premier. We got our butts kicked and I hope it was a good team. Just think, we have a true freshman qb and our starting linebackers went in the draft last year. We will be back an win a least one national title in the next 3 years.

I hate to say it but my Trojans are awful. But just letting u know, our qb is a true freshman and he will be back for at least two more years and USC will have a national title. And the linebackers will have more gams under their belts since all 3 went in the 1st round last year. This is the first time USC has had 2 losses in a season since 2001. And first time the Trojans have lost by more than 7 in 6 years. They will be back. We lost pretty bad, maybe it will be a good thing.

What kind if schedule has Texas had to let them propel over Alabama or Florida in the rankings?

Well ifack brown could win 7 straight big 12 titles he would get recognition. But he's only won one.

U know, I've always said colt McCoy just dink and dunks. My friends tell me that he throws it down field so I just thought it was me being judgmental. Apparently, it's not just me. For the people who think USC shouldn't be where they are please give me reasons why other than the typical "they always get votes", "they are never as good as their ranking", or "USC always loses to bad teams"

Back to Washington... Washington has usc's defensive and offensive coordinators from last year, they were missing their starting qb, safety, and wr. USC then responded by beating a ranked team 30-3. USC has only given up 3 touchdowns all year. I don't care who u play. That's good.

For the dumb people who think USC moved up for no reason.... USC moved up because lsu lost and they were ahead of USC at the time. That's why USC moved up a spot. And about USC having a weak schedule. Their schedule is ranked like 40th and the great Texas is ranked in the 100's. They won't play a top 15 team all year unless Kansas remains undefeated.

So I see that Texas dropped to no. 3 in the ap poll. I think it was coming with how well bama has been playing and how Texas just doesn't seem to be clicking. They looked to struggle offensively against Colorado. Special teams for Texas are really good with Shipley. Defense seems to be good. But bama just looks better to me. I just wonder how this is gonna pan out for Texas when the bcs rolls out. They don't have a strong schedule and thy aren't blowing teams out of the water like thy should. But I'm glad my Trojans moved up to 6. :). Fight on!!

no, i like usc. usc will not be in the national title game unless texas loses. and i dont see that happening with they way they are dodging bullets. usc will win the pac 10 and get a rose bowl berth. i just wonder if its the rose bowl or the national title game that they will be at. anyways back to the topic at hand. dez bryant lied about going to deion sanders house. i dont think that should make him inelligible for the whole season, i think its insane. legarrete blount punched an opponent in the face after a game and lets all remember it was the first game of the season which was supposed to be the week of sportsmanship. both teams came to midfield and shook hands with one another and he punched up on national television, the second game of the college football season. what kind of message is that if he would do that and is now about to be reinstated. dez bryant did nothing to tarnish his name in college football that we know of.

you sound like a texas fan. i dont know, i'm not a texas fan, so i guess i see it way differently. it just seems to me that they are trying to make it sound better to themselves that they are having a tough schedule if in fact the bcs doesnt let them in the national championship because of a lackluster schedule. this is the way i see texas' schedule: colorado- got trounced by toledo and other awful programs. oklahoma- o line problems, bradford will not be in midseason form and shoulder could affect passing downfield missouri- not the missouri of a couple years ago, but could very well be texas' toughest game. okie state- lost to houston at home, then loses star receiver and possible heisman candidate. central florida- c'mon now. baylor- lost star qb griffin, game will not be close kansas- ranked 16th right now, but we all know they arent worthy of the ranking and will lose along the way. maybe reesing can work his magic. a&M- they pose a good chance of upsetting texas since going to kyle field has seemed to be tough. but getting embarrassed by arkansas they way they did, they dont seem to stop texas or even come close to it. big 12 title game, will play a nebraska team that cant compete athletically with texas. texas will play a vaunted defense in alabama or a powerhouse in florida in pasadena. either game could be a toss up. but just from the looks of it, the sec teams will probably win because texas hasnt had a big game all year and the sec will know how to play in adverse situations.

is it just me or is texas' road to pasadena gotten that much easier. first bradford is out and will not be in mid season form for the red river rivalry. griffin is out for the year making the game against baylor a typical baylor-texas game. and now bryant is out for the halloween clash in stillwater. texas has a red carpet all the way to pasadena, and colt mccoy should be given the heisman if tebow is out for the game against lsu. i guess things are given and not earned this year for texas.

So many excuses for Texas. Colt was a redshift freshman. Matt Barkley is a true freshman playing at the horseshoe. Over 100,000 people. Led USC on a game winning drive to win the game. When USC plays ucla there is a home field advantage. Both schools are in the same city. And there is a homefield advantage. So do t talk about the cotton bowl, there is psychological advantage when a team has to travel out of state to play a big game. USC hasn't had a back to back lose since 01 and they won't this year. This is the year for Texas to win the national title and for colt to win the heisman because Bradford got hurt as well as tebow. It's his to lose. If he doesn't win either I believe he choked. Ohio state didn't mind beating you there the very next year. Oklahoma plays in Texas every year. Why don't you go to Oklahoma. Am had no problem beating you in Austin the next year.
