  1. Maybe Beckville's new coach will schedule Tatum. Ross will use J'Koby to get another job.
  2. Shows you're lack of football knowledge. There are multiple styles of "Spread" The program you are referring to runs shotgun Wing-t - developed by Gus Malzahn- its spread to run. They were still close to 90% run.
  3. Pretty sure I can read. You've made several negative comments about them switching from Wing-t to spread. Even went as far as saying that the coaches didn't know how to coach the spread. I also know what program/coach you are referring too. That coach is a long time Wing-t guy, but also won a state championship as OC running the spread. Pretty sure he he can coach both.
  4. That's cute coming from the guy who constantly talks bad about his town's coach/program & other programs.
  5. I'm a wing-t guy and not a fan of the offenses that throw it a lot. But you do realize that they ran the slot-t and went 4-6/3-7 and their coach got fired? Also, there are multiple versions of "the spread" most of which are run oriented. One of the main reasons guys run it is to open up QB runs that they can't do from under center
  6. I'm a wing-t guy, but wing-t is not always the best option. Sometimes the coaches have to look at what they have in the locker room and run what fits their kids instead of running what they like to run. I ran the wing-t for around 20 years. You have to have certain key ingredients to run it successfully. If it was a magical answer everyone would do it. Look at New Diana and Ore City, they both ran the slot-t a couple years ago and got hammered. Harmony went away from the wing-t and went to the Semifinals. Not sure what school you are referring to but most schools I see are Spread to run not spread to throw. By spreading the defense out you can open up more running lanes, especially if you have smaller/quicker running backs and a running QB. Most defenses will load the box vs wing-t, it gets tough running vs a 10 man box! You have to have a hoss back there at fullback!
