"EYE" think it would be great if the U.I.L. would allow all classifications to have spring football and let the people who are in spring ball play another team for the spring game. To me, this would give the players and coaches something to work for. "EYE" feel that it would make this great state of football even better. Thats just my thoughts. If you take a close look at Hallsville's turf field, you would see problems developing. Humps, sink holes, waves and others things. "EYE" hope these areas are corrected before the season starts. The thing that gets me.....It's the same company that installed Longviews. OUCH...... Someone is losing lots of money.

Great job winning district. It was a run-a-way!!!! "TEAM" is the reason for the success. Coaches did a great job preparing the athletes.:thumbsup:

UIL should give all schools, class A to 5A, the option to have spring ball. It should be the schools decision if they have enough players, if it would interfere with other sports, etc... If the schools don't want it, thats o.k. but if they do, they should have that right to do so. Give the right (or option) to the schools and not to the UIL. Thats how "EYE" see it.:shrug:

For Hallsville to win, they have got to hang onto the ball, not throw careless int's, tackle better, and control the tempo of the game. "EYE" will pick Hallsville to give Whitehouse their first district 12-4a loss.

"EYE"'ve heard that Hallsville wouldn't have Carthage even if they asked and begged. Carthage had reserved the stadium last year for the play-offs then forgot to call Hallsvilles A.D. when they changed sites. Professional, kinda like their supt. and football stadium.:no:

This shows the lack of knowledge from the top of the food chain. If the stadium is in that bad of shape, without a doubt, you need to build something new. If the classrooms where that bad, wouldn't they fix them? The stadium does more than help football. It's for the band, cheerleaders, and sports. For the community it could be used for Easter Sunrise services and may other community get togethers. The supt. could be a hero instead of a zero. The stadium at Hallsville was once as bad as they come. Now look at what they have. All it takes is a little common sense and some pride. Good luck Carthage. You are a tradition rich town and well deserving of a new stadium.
