  1. Reminds me of a few stadiums I saw up in the Seattle Washington area. Very cool
  2. I think you could also say that your opinion no longer matters to the rest of us!
  3. Making the statement "if you don't like getting beat so bad work harder and step up your program" is such joke. So you are taking talent completely out of the equation and saying the State Champion every year is the hardest working team? Daingerfield beat Refugio in 09 because they had more talent, not because they worked harder or wanted it more.
  4. I will agree that the officiating was very one sided but I can not say it cost Daingerfield the game. Melissa pulled away in the second half and Dfield could do nothing about it. I think it is a very bad idea to start making accusations like a parent was a ref without proof. And if a Melissa parent was a ref that mistake would be on the Dfield coaching staff since they had to approve them.
  5. Be careful there Bobcats. Melissa does not have a player that jumps out at you but they do not make mistakes and keep getting better as the game goes on. Should be a good one!
  6. I agree with the statement about just having 1a-10a. I have always thought calling someone Division Two seems belittling. Sounds like a Melissa win in Division one is more valid or important than a Refugio win in Division two.
  7. Once again, I do not have to push Mr Grey on anyone. Just look at the stats, they don't lie. And the biggest difference between Mr. Grey and Mr. Shead is that Aledo is a solid 4a program, not a one hit wonder in 1a.
  8. Holy #### people! Lay down the crack pipe and walk away! How can the media make a player into a top five running back in the history of high school football NATIONALLY! I have the pleasure of living about five miles from Mr Grey and have seen him play many times. You guys are about to get rolled. He just gets better the deeper the playoffs go. Tell yourself whatever you need to if it helps you sleep better at night but there is no better running back in this state than Jonathan Grey.
  9. May need to hit the weights, I have seen them shake them the entire game.
  10. The fans from Stephenville have used the five gallon propane containers with a few ball bearings inside for years and it is super loud!
  11. you gotta a good coach great guy he was my coach at henderson 2002 hope everything goes good for him. Best of luck this year!

  12. I guess I am out then because I sold my house and moved my family out of Daingerfield due to these very same problems. Does anyone know what Daingerfield's stance is on the AD having Mid Management/Principal Certification? Most districts require this of the AD and I would be interested to know if Thomas even has this certification. He is a great guy and knows more about football than most of us combined but he would not need this certification to coach at a private school.
  13. If your goal is to keep the focus off the school board you will be censoring a key component to this story. Good luck with that
  14. Yes I have attended a class or two. Why is it acceptable for every level except Division I to have the extra games of a playoff? Are the classes so much easier at smaller schools that they really do not need the extra time to study?
  15. Why is 16 games hard on student athletes? UIL has Texas high school athletes doing it every year and it works out just fine.
  16. Rangers agree to deal with shortstop Odor By Evan Drellich / MLB.com | 01/01/11 6:31 PM EST The Rangers and Venezuelan shortstop Rougned Odor have agreed to terms on a $425,000 deal, according to Baseball America. Odor is a 5-foot-10 left-handed hitter with a clean swing. He's increased his speed of late, but could be better suited at second base as his career advances. His uncle, Rouglas Odor, is the Indians' Double-A hitting coach. Over the summer, Baseball America reported that Odor was 16 years old and that the Yankees, Phillies and Blue Jays had interest in him.
  17. Cameron Yoe and Tatum both went down to 2A this year from 3A. How many titles did they win this year?
  18. Read the entire statement. I said four since 1983. "No, we have four other State Champions since then to have parades for. How many does your school have?"
  19. No, we have four other State Champions since then to have parades for. How many does your school have?
  20. Every time someone makes the statement that baseball would be so much better in downtown Dallas makes me think of all the work that Mr. Vandergriff put into getting the Rangers out of Washington. They should always be in Arlington in tribute to this man. We owe our team to this man. RIP
