I think you see the Buckeyes play well this week, secondary will get tested, but they were up to the task last week with some help from the Carthage receivers, they dropped a few to be fair to them, I think its close till the half and Gilmer pulling away in the second, looking for a big night from Mr. Henderson, Gilmer by 14, good luck to Glen Rose!

Carthage D is as billed...wished we would of be completely healthy, without a serious pass threat, its not hard to know what we are going to do hats of to 17 coming in at QB...

Dwight Smith hands down, best HS RB ive seen play the game, he had it all size and speed & power, unfortunate he didnt get to suit up on Sunday!

Unless Gilmer can keep penalties to a minimum, and play pass defensive, and show a very good Carthage defense something different on offense, this game will not be close, I dont see anyone in Div 2 giving Carthage a challenge, with that said, we still have to play the game, and this ball aint round!

Gilmer has to find some discipline and keep the penalties to a minimum, if they can do that, I see this game being close in the first half and Gilmer pulling away in the second..Gilmer has a ton of weapons and some serious speed, and the defense is definitely starting to come together, the secondary played well last night on deep balls.. Gilmer by 14..

This game probably wont be close, but maybe give both teams some chances to improve on some things!

Lol, believe me, the folks in Gilmer, who know the history of Kilgore and Gilmer, know exactly whats coming, Gilmer is no way proven itself yet, getting 7 gifts from a team that still put over 200 yards on you rushing the ball, is a false positive, Gilmers run defense is still way to suspect to giving up a bunch of yards on the ground, and Kilgore coaches are gonna see that, and thats exactly the receipe for beating the Buckeyes, is to keep the chains moving with clock eating drives, and limit Gilmers possessions, and I certainly see Kilgore getting a few stops, and im sure they've got coached up on the quick out pass, that Carthage very effectively used against them, its way to early to be using words like "Smoke", this one in reality for me could go either way, Gilmer will have to get Kilgore off the field, to have a shot at winning this game, if Kilgores keeps it 3rd short, its probably going to be along night for Gilmer! I hope im wrong, but you cant judge the CH win, 7 turnovers will give nearly anyone a serious advantage! I see a 3-7pt ball game and it could either way!

I look for them undisciplined Buckeyes to play well, yea they'll make some mistakes but so will CS on the big stage, everyone has seen the Carthage game with CS, sorry but the Dawgs QB had an off night, some of the passes were not in the same zip code, say what you will but Tennison can throw darts, and he can do it under pressure, and i got a feeling you'll see him really use his legs Friday, un like most of the season, yes CS is good, but they have to stop alot of weapons on offense, that has really gotten on another level as the year has progressed, can Gilmer get a few stops, im gonna say yes, the defense has gotten better aswell, so gauging the Buckeyes on early season games, would be pointless, same with CS, or any other games both have played, games have to be played, and both are capable of winning this game, and anything can happen...I think you see Brandon Tennison use his legs and keep the chains moving, so give me the Bux by 14!

Gilmer will have to dial up the secondary, and find some discipline to keep their mistakes to a minimum going forward, as for this game, you can count on this not being the same team we faced, they have great coaching and will show us something different, even with that, I like Gilmer by 14 plus,,, this Bux team is similar to the 09 team, that Stump Godfrey took that team on his shoulders, and was just not going to lose, Brandon Tennison has Stump skills, he will have to start taking over these games, and keep the chains moving, with Stumps leadership, I think you see him do that, and that along with the secondary picking it up, is gonna make us a tough out for anyone! Gilmer 42-17 in this one!

Down goes Frazier, and early, CS landed the first big punch early and kept Carthage on their heels the whole game, CS is a very disciplined football team and the HC, coached a great game! Great Season Carthage! Just Crazy!

Dont think ive ever witnessed this amount of penalties in a HS football game! Pathetic!

If Gilmer just rushes 3 this will be along night for the Buckeyes, the Lindale QB had all day 95% of the time to throw the ball, I look for Carthage's Oline to be better, and the real scary part, Lindale's front 7 was in our backfield all night, and I look for Carthage's to do the same, but with more athleticism, Gilmer will have to knock the young QBs off their game for 4 qtrs, and their oline play has to improve and clean up the PF, and get a pic or two, to have a shot, even with that, I still think this its a 35-21 Carthage ballgame at best, hopefully they can prove me wrong!

This Gilmer team certainly has the talent to make another deep run, but they've not been tested yet, maybe these posters are correct, Lindale should be 3-0, hopefully so, Gilmer needs needs a tough game, to put things into perspective, if Lindale has a good passing game, they can be in this ball game for sure, again this Bux team has some serious potential, ive seen the past state teams, and this team is equally as talented, if they clean up the miss tackles, and the offense play lights out, I think they win by atleast a couple if not more!

lol on a last second field goal, that hit the bottom crossbar, and barely fell in, lol...crazy game....Stump was Soph. for that game, ya'll had Blackshire at the helm, and Smith in the backfield, i still say to this day one of the best HS RBs ive ever saw, i would of swore he would of played on Sunday, I think he hurt his knee in spring ball at TCU, when he was able to enroll...as much as i would like to say, this could be one of those games, i dont think so, unless the Bux can put together a solid 4 qtrs, even then id have to give say you guys by 14....but we gotta play the game, and crazier things of happened, kinda like this crazy a$$ year!

Again we are hoping for a great football game, and no disrespect your way either, but we have had some history with Celina, and Graham, and I dont think any have been close....I think we handed Celina their worst playoff loss, in school history, in 2014, this offense has the same explosive capabilities, again lets hope for a great playoff game!

Wasnt Celina like 5-5 before their loss to Graham, and you wont to compare Gilmer to Celina?? Gilmer will make their share of mistakes, but they are very explosive, and very talented, and their front 7 on D aint bad, I dont see Graham running the ball and keeping it close, they'll have to pass, to keep it close, Gilmers offense, will make its share of mistakesa aswell, but, they have talent to burn, and can hurt you from alot of angles, they have definitely evolved into an offense thats very hard to stop, all of us are hoping for a good game, especially this late in the playoffs, I think Graham may keep it close till the half, then its all Gilmer going down the stretch...Gilmer 48-21
