I have been watching LV since the mid 80s and I can testify to the speed. I have never seen them with as much speed at every position as this year...let me be clear that I don't think this is anywhere near the best team that I have seen LV have, but it is definitely overall the fastest.... the problem has been properly using that speed and staying focused... this may very well turn into a track meet...

Other than turnovers...this game to me comes down to Marshall's LBs...can they tackle one on one and punish the Lobo RBs...If they play everthing in front of them, then I think that it will be a good game... LV 34 Marshall 21

Many years that LV has had good teams, there are one or two fans who talk so much disrespectful garbage that most of the posters are happy when they lose....you are making that same thing come true... In my opinion, SS outcoached themselves in the first half...their RB had enough speed to compete with any LV defender...they should have run more draw plays or had him in the flat as a safety valve....they also need to learn how to roll the pocket against teams with better d lines or more speed... I have a feeling that the SS coaches will learn mightly from the LV game and improve...I would not be suprised if they win a close game...

MP ran a different style of offense last year...if you actually saw them play, then you would know that.... my whole point is that their offense is a running team that could keep Longview from having fewer possessions... I am really suprised by your maturity level for someone who graduated 12 years ago...you give Longview fans a horrible name... ohhh by the way...if you want to see them play and have a better idea of what you are talking about, go to youtube and watch the games...the guy that you keep criticizing LoboFan07 has done an incredible job by putting them all on there....

This game is going to be fun to watch...MP has the type of offense to keep LV on the sideline if they play disciplined ball... Running the wishbone and going for it on 4th down 25-30% of the time is old school football...the key to the MP offense is to use LV's speed against them...a lot of misdirection.... LV 34 MP 14

I just think that SS was the wrong team in the wrong place at the wrong time...I think they are better than the score showed against LV and I think LV was better than TH by a larger margin than the score... So with that said...TH by 10

OKAY...so SS.... I think that SS has the best offense to beat LV at this stage in the game, they can pass and run when needed...Their front seven will be better than any we will face in district which is what gives LV the most fits...If LV commits to running between the tackles this game will be really close... However, I think the TH is exactly what the doctor has ordered...LV is going to see a #4 ranked team coming into their house and they won't like it.... LV 35 SS 17
