I watched New Waverly stall against Sabine the moment they regained the lead in the 2nd quarter. This was in the regional championship in 2009. Not real sure why they chose to do it unless their coach felt like his team wouldn’t be able to hold up for 4 quarters. They won 27-26. I’d say it paid off for them, but that sure was boring to watch for almost 3 quarters.

Sabine @ White Oak was a good one. We set a school record for points scored in a game.

Gladewater is young, but talented. Them losing surprised me. Sabine plays good defense, but has really struggled scoring at times. The rest of the district no bueno.
