Just a comment about the offense, interviewed guy one time for head job and he would run the true spread without ever seeing the kids, his philosophy was that the spread could be run with any kind of kid. Needless to say he did not get a second interview, closed minded.

Never know, really nice guy. He didn’t do well at Harleton after his first year, maybe the administration got cautious when they went down this year, stupid reason for sure.

Saw them play Joaquin in playoffs in 2019, trying to run variation of spread, kids didn’t seem too interested in playing, got beat like 37-0. Thought they run some type of power game in season.

As I look back over the candidates,I hope the people who choose the coach will do so without partiality and political geographic location, but nowadays that is the exception. So many good candidates, whether they are 3 miles from Longview or 30 miles. Just a thought.
