I have no problem if a kid does not want to play a sport, if mom or dad is dictating which sport to play, then that is different. Parent trying to replay their career through their child, parent needs a good kick in the seat.

Kinda, cousin says some kids no play feetball cause mommadaddy dont want them hurt fraid they miss baseball, basketball, well what can i say?

Ok, hc is hired, then ad is hired and comes in with his holier than thou attitude and says to head coach, you know we have to run the spread in order to compete and the hc is a wing t or slot t guy, that is like pouring gasoline on a dumpster fire. Can i get an amen.

One time I heard this done, female supt , female high school princ, and jh male prin (no athletic backgroung) narrowed applicants down to 4, submitted those to board for interviews and decision. Have no clue how it turned out. To me this is as good as having community members and board members do it. At least the administrators know the pulse of the school. U never know.

I agree. To me, what makes the spread work best is that the other team cannot tackle one on one. Just like six man, it is all about one on one tackling, that and the fact it all looks like a chinese fire drill, lol.

Just another thought, if a coach tries to run the spread and has never coached the spread, then he is in for a long year, there is some truth to the old saying "coach what ya know".
