Everything I have been taught or learned aims that if the qb is under center then you are running “one back offense” but the same formation with the qb in shotgun then you are spread. I could care less.

Mentality of morons. They rather fight than play. If the geniuses that run both tyler isd and Texarkana ISD have any guts—- season over! Chances are that this will not be the only fight that either team is involved in this year. Let them go on to south Tyler and east Texarkana to do their thing.

That can be said about a lot of teams , but, at the same time the opposite can be said about a lot of spread teams . I watched a team some this year that went from the motion wing t to a variation of the pistol- spread and did not turn out too well. That put a lot of pressure on your defense because you run 3 plays and punt in a matter of 90 seconds. Coach better not try to run something he can’t coach.

That was a “tongue in cheek “ statement about today’s young parents who think their little Johnny should get all the attention and get to do what he wishes. It’s the me generation. No offense to White Oak at all.

To me , that is a funnyyyyyyyyy statement. They want someone who will win, win their way, make sure little Johnny gets 15 passes thrown his way and make sure you don’t discipline the wrong child. There, that ought to cover it.

That’s a good one , the “puke and choke” ranks up there also. “My baby needs at least 10 passes thrown AT him” is a parents favorite!

What happened to Edwards may have an effect on the next guy coming in, and the fact that the parents responsible for this whole episode knows now that all they have to do is start whining and get their way. It’s not just in HS but everywhere. Sad but true.

Lot of schools run the spread without spread kids, and yep most of them don’t win either. But hey it’s the fad.

In this situation the guy who comes in after a person has been there this long usually doesn’t stay long. The second or third guy in has a better chance of longevity, whether coach , superintendent, or pastor.
