Funeral services for Mr. Dannis 'Skip' Tamplin, age 66 of Henderson will be held Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, 204 N. Marshall, Henderson. Burial will follow in the Lakewood Memorial Park, Henderson. Public viewing for Mr. Tamplin will be Wednesday, December 30, 2015 from 1-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Mr. Tamplin passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler.

Beckville has been in the mix the last 3 years in a very tough district, so this is not a fluke. They have great kids who work their tails off and who are very disciplined. Great kids and the addition Jerry Malone to the mix and you have a winning combination. Jerry is a differnce maker! You have to be able to put a plan together to stop people and he is one of the best. Good Luck Bearcats!

5 kids stood out to me from Beckville during the series. Catcher, 3rd, CF and RF. CF and RF could fly and caught everything hit there way. 3rd very impressive at the plate along with a solid glove. The catcher made 2 great throws and did a great job blocking. Beckville was solid all the way around but this is what stood out to me. The big right hander came in Thursday and looked good. Also heard they had some move ins that will be eligible next year. 2016 looks very bright for the Bearcats.

Got to see Beckville this weekend. They play great d and swung the bat really well 1 thru 9. I questioned there record because of their schedule but they are as good as any 4 a team I have seen this year. Should be a great series with Union Grove. Please post the series schedule.

I have seen a couple Ram games and Beckville had 2 defensive ends that did a great job of creating a pile and turning everything back inside. Those 2 took a beating all night, but never missed a beat. The Beckville Band also needs a little recognition. They causef 3 straight penaltie in the 4th quarter.

Man for SA to have that much talent and possibly be sitting at home come playoffs time. WOW!

SA is suppose to win. They have twice the athletes and a bigger school, so to be honest all the pressure is on SA. They should win but that is why they play the game. The Beckville kids will not be intimidated!

Grades could be a determining factor for some teams in the district. How will your team be effected?

1wildcat is obviously not from Beckville. Beckville knows they are the under dog this week and realize they have their hands full against UG. Both very good coached teams that play very physical.

Got to see Beckville and Cross Roads. Beckville only through 2 pitchers but both were very impressive. 2 complete games. I am just not sure about Beckville's defense. Heard Maud is very a solid team. Should be a good series.
