If you look at wins we could be the 2nd place team in district 7. We have a bad record but in 8 team district it is going to be tougher competition that weaker 6 team districts. What would be the complaint if all the teams won their non district games and looked at total win loss records? You would glance at a 7-3 LK and think there were pretty good with that record. Or a Waskom that could have played 4am teams in nondistrict and may have lost. They would be 7-3 also. So then it looks like to evenly matched teams at 7-3. Those non dist games get lost in the fact they mean absolutely nothing but for looks. The other loss is the districts that have 2 more teams to add more competition. Mix up the teams in different districts and see who makes it in. It is what it is and now let's see who moves on!

Is that why half the team weighs 150 or less and runs 4 flat 40's? Those boys were defiantly in a different speed as we knew they would be.

I agree you have to work with what you have. We do the best we can. I am saying it is more difficult than other places. Looking at our field is an entirely different story. I am thankful we have what we do but know our kids deserve more. The can go to almost any school it our district and be in awe of their facilities. It is sad we have to provide port a jons just to have restroom facilities to accommodate the needs at games.

Our weight room is not large enough to fit 25 to30 kids in it working out. All of the equipment is worn or broken. Very few machine weights. Most are free weights. You ask why. Ask all the community people who have kids who have graduated or have no kids at all. They voted bond down 2-1 and there is simply no extra funding to improve the larger needs. Translation to all this..... 3-7 and kids trying to do the best with very little to work with!

That's because the band refuses to march on it and always has marching practice on the game field on Fridays.

I believe both teams respected each other last night. Waskom didn't rub it in nor did we respond with cheap shots. I do not remember any personal fouls in the game or for that matter many flags at all. I hate the score but that's the way two teams should play is with respect and class no matter the difference on the scoreboard.

Congratulations for and undefeated district championship. It was great to see the sportsmanship of the players last night. They hit each other then helped the player up. There was no showboating after great runs just a very fast team dominating another. My hats off to you, good luck the rest of the way in the playoffs!

ND does have problems that go much deeper then what is on the surface. Everyone knows what our facilities look like. You should see our weight room. It wouldn't be used for middle school at most districts. Diana is a community with very little tax revenue. Most everything goes to Upshur county because if not being incorporated. These kids and coaches try to make the best of what they have. Until something changes above the control of the coaching staff of kids, it will be difficult to have facilities to help improve these young men physically. HS should and is heavily favored in this game. They will go to NB and play hard as will most of the young men from ND. Good Luck and enjoy the game.

Since ND has already been blown out in this game before it starts, do they score will be the better question?

Winona rolls into EF and takes care of business....NOT! EF wins big, Winona is one of the most undisciplined teams I've ever seen. They had to have at least 30 penalties for 200 yds against ND. Most pre-snap.

This has been a tough and bizarre year. We had 5 games decided by 1 score winning only 2 of them. The EF game was a heartbreaker and season changer. We haven not played very good since. Frankston game we were flat and also had a few cheap shots that got some players hurt. Calls were worse that the EF officials. (Not by any way saying refs were the reason for EF loss because they were aweful for both teams) The Arp game we flat gave little effort against a very good team and got whipped. Then we come out against Winona thing out season is over and go through the motions doing just enough to win only to find out we are in the playoffs. Now for Waskom.... They are much more physical and far faster but.... ND does have heart. This will be our senior night and the kids will want to play well in their last home game. Can we win? Yes Will we win? Don't think so but it has been a very bizarre season! Good luck and hope all are safe on the way to the game. One last thing..... ND offers VIP parking on 154 behind the Middle School. This in directly behind the scoreboard. Parking is $25 per vehicle with all occupants getting into the game with the price of parking. All proceeds go to the athletic scholarship fund.

What is the tie breaker for 4th if the 3 teams are tied at 3-4?
