Another Texas High coach lands head coaching job. The Waldron, Ark.. Bulldogs have their man. Actually they have Dale Mann. Mann was hired as the school’s new football coach. . Mann, who spent the past three seasons as an assistant at Texas High in Texarkana, said it was time for him to make the jump back to Arkansas. Liberty- Eylau has the worst football stadium in Texarkana. I have heard all the reasons why this is the case. Until the L-E community comes together and pushes for either a new stadium or massive renovations to the current stadium, it will be hard to get some coaches interested in applying for L-E football jobs. Let's hope the new coach can work with L-E community to get something done to improve the stadium. Does anyone know of any current efforts to improve the stadium ?

I for one hope this is true. PG has an outstanding baseball program in a baseball crazy town. I hope North Lamar will soon announce the new coach. This will help both PG and North Lamar supporters.

Girls and boys track teams that will be in this Fridays L-E meet in Texarkana : Liberty-Eylau, Texas High, Arkansas High, Atlanta and Mt Pleasant will be the teams competing in Friday's Paul Parr Relays.
