I'll be dynastying as SFA and we're gonna steal Arch from you, then send a stripper to Hunstville to get one of your position coaches fired.
Geez, so you’re expecting the new game to be like Grand Theft Auto?

That is the best shot right now.
I think all of the instant impact guys from Michigan will be going to the NFL though.
It’s going to be tough to replace what Texas lost, so hopefully the pass rusher improves and the secondary gets a lot better to help mask the lack of beef up front.

There are none of them.
Just wait for Harbaugh to leave, then maybe some will hit the portal.

Keep in mind these are just predictions from a former IT guy in Gerry Hamilton, but this is what we’ve been hearing for a while now.
I’ve heard him and a TE from Stanford. Either would be nice to complement Helm.

Another transfer portal WR heading to the Longhorns……getting loaded at the position
Added the LB Blackshire from Bama too.
Now just add a DT and TE and they’ll fill all the needs.

I thought the portal was closed how are these players still able to enter?
Due to Saban retiring, Bama players have an extended window to enter.

I will also not be declaring for the NFL Draft if anyone was wondering.
I bet they told you there’s a lot you could improve on.

I knew what you were getting at, and by that Center performance in that bowl game he'd be 3rd string at UT to open up workouts.
You can understand him?

I think Sark recruited Seth McGlaughlin to BAMA, so I could easily see him in burnt orange next season.
The starting C for Texas has one more year left if he wants to comeback.

I don't think the secondary was that much of a weak link talent wise other than Jerrin Thompson (lots of bad angles and late reads). I thought the scheme was much more detrimental to the pass defense. Did anyone see any press coverage late in the season? I asked on another board, did we ever blitz or send more than four after Alabama?
I was wondering from someone who has more knowledge than me about the secondary. Was it personnel/players, coaching, scheme? I think I saw somewhere that the reason Texas played off was because they lacked speed at safety. It seemed like the players were in position to make plays, but didn’t play the ball very well.

That’s big getting Collins to stay, seems like things started to click for him this year.

Ryan Watts was a Sr, and the biggest liability on the team.
I thought the entire secondary was the weak link of the team all season, but Sark is also doing alot to improve that through the portal and recruiting.
Watts could comeback, he has a Covid year. Not sure he will

Man I thought it was over when they didn’t get the onside. I went to let my dogs out and oh boy was I surprised when they had the ball back. Great season and 2 really good games yesterday. Texas had a chance to win it in the end after getting torched through the air, had 2 fumbles and a ton of penalties. They fought to the end.
Washington gets the ball out so fast and their WRs catch everything!
Also, @JohnnyFootball, @Valhalla, @Coach Rab, the memes & gifs are all in good fun.

This season exceeded my expectations, they were there until the end with a chance to win.
QB, RB, and OL should all be solid next year.
WR will be all new unless Mitchell decides to come back.
TE with Helm is okay, but they may look to add a transfer here.
DL wise you lose 2 really good guys in the middle that will be hard to replace. You have some rotational guys who will need to step up into a bigger role. Hopefully the pass rush will be better to cover that loss in experience. Transfer from UTSA should help there.
LB you will lose Ford, but return Hill and Gbenda. Hill should improve with another year under his belt and they are high on the Lefau kid from Hawaii. Might need another transfer here.
Secondary, this is the big one. Corners were young, so I look for them to improve, but safety play was atrocious. Taffe is solid as a back up, first guy off the bench type. Williams should improve and the Clemson transfer should fill in for Barron, may need another transfer here or you’ll be rolling out some young guys. Honestly no starting position is safe here, all up for grabs.
ST, Auburn will be back which is a plus

Good season, just too many mistakes in a game of this magnitude.
-
Watts has been abused all game, along with the entire Texas secondary.

Texas just can’t stop the simple plays.
-
Let’s go D, need a stop
-
Too many mistakes
-
Texas RBs killing any momentum with turnovers.
Baxter-fumbleBlue- Big drop and fumble
Robinson- dropped 2 kickoffs
-
Washington can actually get pressure on Ewers, doesn’t help that Texas is constantly getting behind the chains with penalties.
-
-
Texas just can’t cover Washington or get to the QB.

Dallas needs help against the run and Sweat would fit that need.
