Just to be clear, we are all in one community or another. We all live somewhere so you being n the community adds nothing to your statement. I have the text messages to prove my statements as to my speaking with him and his interest in the position should it include AD duties. If you would post your phone number I would be happy to forward them to you. I will assume that you are not Coach Kerry Strong's boss so the rest of your statement is inadmissible. The defense rests. As to the other gentleman that stated that being AD means very little if without the power to actually direct athletics on an administrative level, you are 100% correct. If this job works out it will have to be nothing less than an administrative position. As to the third gentleman that stated "hook, line, and sinker," I prefer to think that they were foul hooked. I apologize for being short but I must try and get my ticket to Baltimore booked.

If you must ask questions such as these you are too far behind to catch up.

Just spoke with Coach Strong. He said he would consider this if he would be AD as well as Head Basketball Coach. Like I said earlier...a perfect fit.

Dont think he would move over to you guys but Kerry Strong would be a great fit at AG...

Kerry Strong has been called regarding this job but has no interest in it...I just spoke with him. I cannot confirm if Mike Thomas has been contacted. Thank you for your support for these to coaches.

Slickster you must be a mind reader or someone on the inside because lone oak is rolling out the red carpet for Kerry Strong. There is some sort of connection somewhere with Strong's wife going to school at lone oak until she was a junior I believe. Look for this one to take shape soon if they can get the money and minor details right. Rumor has it that the AD\HFC only getting a $10000 stipend...if this is the case I feel safe saying they will have to move on to the next candidate. We will find out soon if this is the case.

Kerry Strong was never involved in this job so it shouldnt be a shock that he didnt get it. I vacationed in bowie county once.

Kerry Strong is in negotiations with SA about a contract. Should be wrapped up by the end of the week if they meet his demands I am told.
