What a game! #8 Dowell is a monster RB & he showed a lot of class after the game by acknowledging the Teague fans as we gave him a standing O (which he deserved for that performance). Both teams should represent Dst 11 well.

Coach, I agree 9-1 season for the loser ain't too shabby. However winning Dst 11 is very important because Dst 12 only has 3 good teams. The 4th spot will get blown out in round 1 by either MHS or THS. The 3 vs 2 matchup will be more of a fight. But one game at a time...

I look for Westwood to knock Eustace out of a playoff spot.

West at Whitney will be another important game in Region III. Each has 1 loss, West lost to Glen Rose & Whitney lost to Cameron. I'll take Whitney at home, but West is having a special year.

Teague wins, but it'll be a fight for a half or so. WW is physical & they try to control the clock.

If Texas ran this same offense with a mobile QB, this game wouldn't be close. Swoopes is improving, but still throws several passes per game that he shouldn't (see the pick 6) and gives no threat to run. Texas D is top 10 quality, they just need help.

Elks have been playing pretty good since laying an egg vs Leon. Figured Eustace would take that one. Kudos to Elkhart as that win probably gets them in the playoffs.

Westwood will push Malakoff & Teague for about a half, then both run away with it. Westwood is probably the 3rd best team in that Dst, but with very little exception, the 22 best players in the Dst will be on the field at the same time at all times on Oct 24th in Malakoff. Westwood just doesn't have the horses. Malakoff by 3-4 TDs.

Yes, both T & M coaches are way too smart to look ahead, fans can, but those coaches won't. Both have a pesky Westwood team to beat 1st. M also has Elkhart, which will be no problem & T has Kemp who will go winless by a wide margin in Dst.

Good test for the Lions. Caldwell was better than I thought. Knew they were big, but Soph QB is not bad & both RBs are pretty good. Teague's speed was the difference.
