Kilgore was playing with a 4th string QB against Jasper...not saying they would have won either way, but that was not the same Kilgore team that started the year....a lot of injuries and just an overall down year..

If Kilgore can run the ball effectively, I don't care how good a passing game Hargrave has...they will be on the sidelines the whole time watching Kilgore eat the clock!!!...which equals a good defense ;)

Only concern I see, is which Kilgore team shows up Thursday...the one from the 1st two games of the year and last Friday...or the one from the 7 game win streak...

I don't know of any players on Kilgore that have D1 talent... yet, anyways....they are fairly young. Our best players are RB #1..pretty fast and very hard to take down for a smaller guy....Gets a lot of yards after contact....and our QB #3..he is just a Soph. about 5'8" 150...but, he can fly....Also, # 8 and #6 are pretty solid..,..Overall, Kilgore has been a surprise this year....They, have come a long way this season and up till this past Friday have improved every week....Kilgore will need to play very well this week in order to beat Hargrave....Hopefully, they respond and come ready to play Thursday.....and yes, Kilgore usually travels well in the playoffs

Kilgore, just continues to find ways to improve....every week it seems they are getting more and more confident and are really starting to understand the system...Hopefully, they stay healthy these next two weeks before playoffs start...I still believe though, there is still a lot more we haven't seen...I think there is that "IT" factor, that's in there somewhere that they have not shown yet....maybe they find it this year, or maybe they don't,...????...who knows, but I do believe that its there somewhere and if they do find it....watch out!!!

Well, a few missed plays here and there and this games not close...can't believe we getting 5yds a carry and punt on 4th and 1...

The 2011 Kilgore Bulldogs started out 0-2...went on to the 4th round of the playoffs...Boom!!!

The 2003 Atlanta Rabbits started out 0-4 and went on to win state that year..of course they played Mt. Pleasant..Hallsville..Thigh..and Marshall in non-district

Depends...I would say no if it includes 5 TD's and a win...ha...and this years Kilgore run game isn't the typical I- formation run in straight up the gut every play....we spread you out and use misdirection...you now have to worry about multiple athletes, not 1... and when the RB's or the QB find that seam, uhhhh.....HE GONE!!!!

Bout to be 3-2....Ha....I sure do hope Carthage shuts down Kilgore's running game like they are "supposed" to....if not, there is going to be a lot of head scratching going on in Panola county Saturday morning...especially if we don't pass at all...lol

Boom!!!! That just happened...

I really don't know what to expect out of this one....I like Kilgore's chances more now, then I did after week 2 though...ha...Kilgore has improved a ton from week 2 until now and the kids seem to be gaining confidence...the key to me for Kilgore in this one though is hanging onto the ball and sustaining drives...(limiting drive killing penalties),...Kilgore already has their hands full going up against that Carthage defense and sure don't need to add penalties/turnovers into the mix...I like our chances though, this young bunch has really surprised me and probably a lot of folks from Kilgore so far this season...the offense has been exciting to watch at times this year, especially when the QB and RB find a seam.....They Can Fly.... and the defense has done better at getting off the field on 3rd down and will for sure need to continue that this week...hopefully, they find a way to get something going against Carthage....cant wait to see how Kilgore matches up against a very good and very respected Carthage program!!!!...Praying for a competitive injury free game, with both teams finding ways to improve!!!!

Buddy will be 9 for 15 with 134 Yds. and 2 TD's...and 1 called back for holding...BOOM!!!...turning some heads on the passing game this week...lol

I'm not sure how this one ends up....based on Aggie98 report, it looks like Kilgore will have their hands full...to me, I believe that "If" Kilgore can hang onto the ball and not kill drives with penalties, then I think Kilgore can make it interesting...besides the penalties, the defense played better last week, but will need to be even better this week...either way, hopefully Kilgore continues to improve and comes out with some positives to build on...I will say, Kilgore will for sure have been battle tested by district time...ha...now, just wait and see how they respond

If PT is going to pull an upset, they better do it this year...don't see it happening after that...Kilgore will only get better

Most of the time when Kilgore and PT meet I would just about bet money the Dogs would dominate...This year, I don't have a clue...Kilgore has shown me they can move the ball on offense, but they also, have shown they cant finish drives and can turn it over...they have shown they can make stops on defense, but they have also, shown they cant stop anything...is it because they are young???? Lack of talent??? New offense???...or what??? Only time will tell...Now granted, I know they did get beat by two pretty good teams, but I just cant see a for sure victory Friday even though it is Pine Tree...from what I hear they are much improved and I think they can beat this years Kilgore team, or at least this years team RIGHT NOW!!!! and for sure if we have turnovers...not trying to say Kilgore will lose, but they need to figure out how to put all the pieces together..."IF" they can do that, then there's not a doubt in my mind they will beat PT and just about anybody else they play this year...It's just a matter of how quick these young ones put everything together
