  1. That would be awesome!!! I never go to Mid-County Madness because it's so hard to get a ticket. Thanks, I'll definitely let you know. My oldest grandson graduated last year but my youngest is a sophomore.
  2. What other teams do you consider "BeastTexas" that are still in the playoffs that I'm not cheering for?
  3. I guess it depends on your definition of BeastTexas. Now if you had said NETexas I would agree with you but there are some good football teams with great football history south of Lufkin. That being said I'm pretty sure no one involved with PN-G cares about being considered "BeastTexas". Personally I'm cheering for Gilmer, Timpson, Chapel Hill, Malakoff and Port Neches-Groves.
  4. I'm going to have a heart attack if PN-G doesn't quit this. Great game Liberty Hill. You never gave up. GO PN-G INDIANS!!!
  5. Oh goodness, I didn't think that it was hard to understand that PN-G was technically East Texas. Last I looked no school in Louisiana is part of the Texas UIL system. Therefore PN-G would not be Louisiana. Nor are they greater Houston. Yes they are part of the Golden Triangle as is other schools that are also technically in East Texas. SMH
  6. Wow, why didn't I think of that?
  7. Saying PN-G is greater Houston is like saying Gladewater is Metroplex.
  8. You are right about SOC last year. I was just watching some games of Frisco Emerson and SOC better not take them lightly or they'll be sitting at home next week. That being said PN-G needs to take care of business tomorrow night also. GO INDIANS!!!
  9. One thing that scares me about Liberty Hill is their Slot T offense. I hate that offense. Although PN-G handled well last year it's still an offense that can crumble defenses. Liberty Hill is much better this year as are the Indians but last year PN-G forced several turnovers that deflated that Slot T. Also I'm concerned about PN-G letting up in the 2nd half. They've done it several times this year and it was their downfall against SOC in the Championship game last year.
  10. I can't see why you say that. No one predicted Lovejoy to be held to zero points. These 2 teams were ranked 1 & 2 in the state in 5A DII. I can see them being beat but not the dominance that was handed to them.
  11. Huntsville played a great game and had a wonderful season. I don't know how many players they will graduate but they should be back.
  12. I can't believe how bad SOC beat Lovejoy. Wow, they are going to be tough.
  13. I was there. They played well in the 1st half but SOC was just too much for them in the 2nd. I hope they win this year also but first they need to take care of Liberty Hill and I don't think it will be as easy as last year. Last year was my 1st time to go to the state championship games. Can't wait to go back.
  14. Maybe some but not all. Personally I would have given congrats either way. I saw the end of the game. It was a great game and I like a great story. Either way I cheer on all NE TX teams in the playoffs and one SE TX team. I hope the Buckeyes win it all as I would have hoped Carthage the same.
  15. One of the best atmospheres for high school football I've ever watched in person. Especially when they are at home. The Reservation is a great home field advantage. Their fans travel very well no matter where they are playing. I must also add, although I'm a little prejudice, that they have one of the best high school bands in the state.
  16. Lol. After I posted I remembered where I went so I edited my original post. Katy was like PN-G'S home away from home.
