It's a tough loss for Sabine but Atlanta is always tough. I believe both teams will make the playoffs. Seeding is what's unsure of.- 2,063 replies

Exciting game and fun to watch. Good luck to both teams this season.

Good win Tatum. Good luck rest of the way.

Lol, you'd be surprised

What do you mean "that explains it"? You know there is a big difference between innocent trash talk and down right bashing coaches and the fans. In my opinion it was more fun when the talk was about actual football. Just my opinion though.

What's interesting is why anyone would actually care who I pick. Covering football for the many years as I have means I've made a lot of friends that are associated with a lot of different schools. I'm a loyal and supportive person. I have a lot of respect for a lot of coaches and players so I always want them to do well. Carthage is a well respected program with great kids and coaches. I don't care much for the trash talking that enters many threads on this site. I just love great football and seeing all these young men and coaches succeed. I'm to old to care about anything else. Good luck to both teams tonight.

I did do that. I voted my heart. Let's just say I have dear friends that are a central part of Bullard ISD.

Good game Malakoff. Good luck this season.

I go through Lumberton when I go see my grandsons in Port Neches. I like Lumberton. About 8 years ago I had thought about moving to Lumberton to help out my daughter when she got sick.

What’s your teams biggest upset win?
Golfingnut replied to dawgs.swarm's topic in High School Sports
In the rain and returned 2 fumbles back for TD's. I watch it every year on YouTube. -
This will surprise many but my favorite team of all time was the 2013 Gladewater Bears. They backed into the playoffs by beating Henderson in the last district game and then went 4 rounds in the playoffs finally losing to a really good Argyle team. The Bears weren't the most talented Bear team of all time but they overcame many obstacles and paved the way for the 2014 Bears. They were fun to watch play and grow as a team.

It wasn't Gladewater's decision to stop playing Gilmer so get over yourself.
