Crockett is coming off of a dominating win over Coldspring. And Elkhart is coming off a hard loss from Diboll. This Crockett team is getting better and better each week and now that we finally have a RB opposing teams have to worry about our air raid offense plus him. My prediction is Crockett 56 Elkhart 14.

Hello: My name is Chris Gannaway. I am the head football coach at Texas Leadership Charter Academy in Arlington. I am in search of a brilliant offensive mind to be my offensive coordinator. TLCA-Arlington is going to be moving into its second year of High School, and I have been given the task of creating a football team that will be successful when we enter the UIL in the next realignment. As of now, we are six man, but that can and probably will change in the 2019 season with us moving to 11 man football and then entering the UIL as a class 2A classification. Longview ISD athletic department will host the Chick-fil-A Middle School 7-on-7 football tournament beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 7th at Lobo Stadium. The tourney will take place in Lobo Stadium and on the grass practice fields behind our Softball Fields and stadium, and will feature current seventh and eighth-grade students from Longview, Pine Tree, Hallsville, Kilgore, Gilmer, Carthage, T.K. Hello all, I have been searching for but cannot find some statistics on the 1941 Mission High School football team. Tom Landry was quarterback and the team went 12-0 with 11 shutouts en route to winning the regional championship. What I am trying to find out is how many points they allowed during the entire season (obviously not much because they only failed to shutout a team once). Can anybody help me with this? I just noticed a report on the Newton Chamber of Commerce page that Coach W.T. Johnston of Newton is in surgery receiving a new lung today. Many will remember from the state championship game he coached with an oxygen bottle.

My Best friend is a Coach at Gladewater and he said his Head Coach was Arrested Saturday night with a DWI. He acted like the School was going to make hom resign!!! This is a crazy situation. Just when i thought they had turned the corner. If this turns out to be true. This will make someone a great job!!!!

Those of you that have played high school football and have watched it over the years what is your opinion concerning JV performance versus the future varsity program? I realize that freshman will continue to grow and become stronger but so will opposing teams freshman. I also realize that not all JV players will make varsity their sophomore or even junior years.
