Which Area game should I go shoot this week?

The West Rusk Raiders slipped by the Winnsboro Red Raiders in a must win game for WR..West Rusk is open this week. Gladewater (4-1) and Sabine (4-1) have a lock on the top two playoff spots...if Tatum (2-3) can upset Gladewater and Winnsboro can knock off Mineola (3-2) that would set up a four-way tie for the other two spots. It appears that West Rusk (3-3) needs Winnsboro and Tatum to lose to lock in a playoff spot and would be the third place team virtue their win over Mineola. So now that football is over for all of these teams, anyone have thoughts on how this 14-2A basketball district will play out this season?

The more I look at the map and the numbers turned in last week, the more I think this district is possible: Daingerfield New Boston Hughes Springs Winnsboro Redwater Mount Vernon Prairiland I think this would be a good, strong district with several natural rivalries. The Daingerfield/Hughes Springs matchup would be fun because both teams have been good lately and the towns are within walking distance of each other. You already have a natural rivalry between Winnsboro and Mount Vernon. The New Boston/Daingerfield rivalry would continue to grow. Redwater/Winnsboro could be intriguing. Hughes Springs/New Boston would also be exciting. The driving would be minimal, as each town is fairly accessible off the I-30 corridor. Thoughts?

Ok Folks, Welcome to District 7-AA Roll Call. This is going to be the official thread for games, schedules, thoughts and analysis of games that our teams play. Any and all information, please post here to keep this place cleaned up. Now first, we have a roll call. I want everyone on here who will be here on a consistent basis to tell us who's your team, some stuff about you, your connection to your school, where you reside, what you do, how often you make it to games and any other interesting tidbits. This is for all fans to have a respectful dialogue amongst each other. The Rules are simple. No name calling, no PERSONAL bashing of players, coaches and the like. Address everyone with respect, I don't care if you are addressing your most hated rival. Show respect. Be polite. No trolling. Violaters that are repeat offenders will be asked to leave and then SDC mods will be brought in. So.......I guess I will start with myself on the next post.
