As much as I hate both of these two teams and their ultra-obnoxious fans, there's no doubt in my mind that these were the two best teams in MLB in 2009. I'm hoping for an epic seven game World Series (which means that it will probably go for four or five!)

I'm not a big fan of either of these teams also, but I do get a nice steak and a big cold one when the Phillies take down the Yankees.

Obnoxious fans are found all around our nation (ever been to a Cowboys game?) . . . I like the way the Phillies play Baseball, in spite of their fans! :)

I love the teamwork that Giarardi has established. This is no longer a me team. This isn't going to be an easy Series, and a lot of hardwork has to come about. There's only one person that I don't like on the Yankees now. The rest go about their business, and try to make things happen. C.C. and Tex are becoming leaders on this team, and it is showing.

I'm going with the Phillies in 6, and hope the Yankees prove me wrong.

Mellon wishes. I know the Yankees' performances in the ALDS and ALCS have him worried.

Yankees pitching is better, hitting is better and defense is just as good.

I'll take my boys in 5.

I'll take my steak medium rare and my beer ice cold. Phillies in 6.

My prediction has finally come to me: Phillies in seven. Greatest World Series since the epic series of 2001 and 1991. Jayson Werth wins the MVP award, and A-Fraud wilts under the WS pressure.

Also, Eddie Waitkus was the alias used by Jack McKay, as his son recognized back in 2000. Cheesy, I know, but I loved that show!

The Yankees looked like they partied too hard over the last couple of days. Cliff Lee was throwing some great pitches, but that's not an excuse. The Yankees better lick their wounds, and hopefully they've been humbled at their own stadium. Chase Utley got the best of Sabathia tonight.

Hopefully the Yankees will remember this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3_EVWZTCM4 , and strike back.
