My3Daughters
Came by the 31 bridge Friday morning going into Chandler and saw 2 cars....I guess the weather is still reaking havoc on the fishing.
Hayseed
I heard they're still not biting.I'm not a Sandbass expert but some of my friends from work have been at it for a long time. Most folks i talk to say that when the water temp takes a long time to "get right" then once the fish move up they do it all at once and don't hang around as long. catahoula
Well, I went yesterday and they are definitely in there. I caught 10 and lost another 4 that I should have caught. People are getting limits here and there. The water is still really cold. I also caught about 50/50 males and females. The females are starting to put on some weight but they aren’t quite there yet. The morning bite is better than the rest of the day. Try between 7 – 11 am and you will get them. Bite peaks around 9:30 right now. I’m thinking the run will peak in 2 weeks. Hayseed
They're starting to bite now as the sun is starting to poke out more,so i've heard. :angler: I will be on the Sabine this weekend, not for the fishing tourny though (cause the Tigers are in the regional B-Ball tournament)! catahoula
The neches has been on fire for about 3-4 weeks now. I've probably gotten 150 - 200 so far and haven't been out since last sunday. Hopefully I'll get back out this weekend.
