LoboFan07
If any Soccer historians are aware of such occurrences in MAJOR soccer leagues, please post! Pretty sure soccer has never had a 7 game series. As far as I know, only two games series with goal differential being the deciding factor has only occurred.
cheaptrick77
Pretty sure soccer has never had a 7 game series. The MISL/MSL had a best-of-seven format from 1984-1992, with only three series going the full seven games. I'll check the details of those three series when I have more time ;)
Stoney
2004 Boston Red Sox: American League Championship Series (vs. Yankees) As a Yankee fan can we please have that erased from the record books. :flowers:

shoelessjoelives
Maybe Red Sox season ticket holder Stephen King could help here.

shoelessjoelives
And then Neil Diamond could come out and sing "Sweet Caroline" and twitch his nose and "right all the wrongs" as Independence Day comes closer. Let's not forget the true meaning of July The 4th !!!
