Tonight America Watching Boys Lose Their 10th Game Of The Season

Recommended Posts

cowboyz on the verge of a "10 loss season" which could be reached tonight in Arizona down the road from where the American League champion :texrangers: Texas Rangers train in the spring. When was the last time the boyz went down ten times in a season...........

1997, 2001, 2002 and 2004........and now 2010 looms in the darkness.

Wonder if Mark Lindsay will be in Arizona tonight ?

Cowboys simply overrated. They've got some very good talent and they've got some quitters. And I'm not talking about Romo who I think is a winner and one of the top 10 qbs in the league.

Must find offensive linemen and a better secondary. Oh yea, more consistent kicker

Right-O. The boyz have already thrown in the towel and this game tonight will just be for another wrinkle on Jerry's facelift.

Think you missed the pun. If Paul Revere (Mark Lindsay) were coming if would have to be by land as no sea in Arizona.

If this defense was better Jason Garrett would be undefeated as interim head coach, to top that... Wade Phillips might, and that is a one huge might, still be head coach. They can't close out the game. Beuhler messed up and cost them the game in the end but if the D could stop them there is no game winning field goal. Oline did a good job run blocking for McGee but Columbo struggled several times. Alan Ball probably shouldn't even be in an NFL uniform much less a starting FS. He is worse than bad.

No I didn't miss it. That's why I used Mark Lindsay in the first place. He was in Paul Revere and the Raiders.

I guess with the cowboyz missing the field goal at the end proved once again that "these kicks just keep gettin' harder to find" once again. AND once again the boyz have another 10 loss season for Jerry. Is that 5 times since '97..........Maybe he can change the name at his stadium to "Sadlot by the Ballpark" :happy65: :crybaby: !!

I guess we get to blame this one on Kitna right? I mean if Romo would have been at the helm we would be calling for his head after throwing two pick 6's....even thought they were not his fault.

Im getting tired of Barbers antics. After every time he touches the ball he acts like he just busted a 99 yarder for his first TD of his career. Take some lessons from Barry Sanders and Emmitt. Get your sorry butt back in the huddle and lets do it again.

I think Garrett deserves a shot at the HC job, but if Jerry can find a guy with more experience, Garrett wont get the job.

This has been a very frustrating season and Im glad its almost over.

Barber should have to cut his locks for his stunt, and then he could concentrate on football instead of looking pretty. The helmet could be hurting because of the extra locks, the reason he had to get it off so quick rather than trying to show-off.

With the most generous defense in the league there is no wonder they have 10 losses at this stage.

Wade Phillips was a defensive specialist and Jason Garrett was a quarterback and Jerry is a .......never mind. All you can say is what Jimmie said that day with his hair all messed up and a huge grin on his face...."how bout dem Cowboys!!"

Don't feel bad boyz fans............this is the season of giving.......isn't it, Merry Christmas !!

Dallas did a lot of good things this game. Kitna and McGee both had good games. They both threw the ball well given circumstances. McGee rushed a couple bad throws but did show he might be a keeper. Kitna put the ball "spot on" for the most part. He has no control over receivers slipping or dropping the ball. I will bring it up again. It is amazing how many tipped passes off our receivers get returned for td's.

Beuler's kicking will get more consistant. This is only his first year at kicking field goals. Chris Bonoil has greatly improved his abilitiy to kick more accurately. Time and practice will make him better.

Defense had a pretty game also. The 74 yarder and the drive late were truly a letdown.

I would imagine that Garrett will dish out some punishment for Barber's antic's of removing his helment after the td. The celebrating after the play I had no problem with.

1) Yes, they did a lot of good things in this game. They all seemed to be dressed correctly & their shirts tucked in. It's no problem they caused another QB to get hurt and gave up a 75+ yd play. No concerns there.

2) Beuler has only cost us 2 or 3 games this season. There is no reason to doubt him. Just needs more practice. There's nothing wrong with missing XPs.

3) Defense had a pretty good game. Just gave up a long drive to lose (just like they have 5 times this year) no problem there. It's not like they were beaten by a 3rd string QB....oh wait....never mind on that .

4) I'm sure Garrettt will dish out the punishment. He did keep him out for 2 plays for heaven's sake. I didn't have a problem with him celebrating either. Heck, it's only a game. There was no reason to be concerned after the prior 2 games they lost because of celebrations.

5) Heck this has been a GREAT year !!!!!! As you said in a post early in the year. There's no reason to be concerned. They will be fine ! Afterall, they don't have the worst record in the NFC. They ARE ahead of Carolina.

No matter what the league fines Barber, the Cowboys should fine him $25,000 for taking his helmet off on the field and double it every time he does it in the future. How many times has he done this before ... at least three or four?

On the bright side he did score a touchdown. He usually jumps around like a fool after a 2 yard gain and a 1st down.

such a sad way to lose in front of absolutely every football fan on the planet. christmas night game and we play like that. defensively, we were ok(against one of the worst offesnses in the league with a rookie qb who'd never thrown a td pass), until that last drive. giving up 10 is not that bad at all. can't pin the first 14 on them this time. garrett will be gone after the philly game. so will the kicker. big hire is coming for dallas if jerry will step back and let a good coach do his job. i think he tipped his hand with his comment about a superbowl winning coach.....hopefully

I feel the same way, ever since Barber got hurt last year he has acted like every positive yardage play was something special. I don't mind showing some enthusiasm or excitement but Barber acts like he has done something special everytime he touches the ball. I used to think he was one of the smarter, good attiitude type of guys on the team but now I just think he is an idiot. That TD run was impressive and he had a good opportunity to celebrate with his team but instead he jerks his helmet off like an idiot. He won't be back next year unless he takes a pay cut. I hope he can act like an idiot somewhere else.

I agree with the way they lost against Arizona. However, I don't believe that Garrett will be gone after the Philly game. Even though Dallas has lost 3 games under Garrett, none of the losses have been by more than 3 points. If Dallas is able to keep the game close with McGee at quarterback, I do believe that Jones retains Garrett.

I took Jerry's comments a different way. Many people are calling for Cower, Gruden, or one of the other super bowl winning coaches to be the next head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. But Jerry went on record to state that none of those super bowl winning coaches had ever gone on to win a super bowl with another team. Dallas has responded with Garrett at the helm, and I believe that they will respond when play resumes either next year or the year after that.

I think you are right Buckeye. I think Garrett has earned a chance to coach next year. I do think there needs to be a new defensive coordinator brought in with some new starters on defense.
