You are just as misguided as Lion70 is if you believe that. i only asked a question...is that not allowed? I think that almost any team's fan would like to think that their coach is the best if they are winning games and even more so if they win championships regardless of class.I am glad that Surratt is in Carthage winning Championships and I'm sure you're glad that King is winning games with your Lobos. Â You're allowed to do anything you want, but you assumed he would say King when there is not a single thing out there that proves John King is the best coach in the State or that wolf would suggest that he is. Â Sure we would like for King to be, but he's come up short in both State Championship games that he has been in and he was severely outcoached in both of them. With lineman the size and quality he has, there are many coaches in the state who could produce the same results as him IMHO. I absolutely love it when people call out Lineweaver because of the Samoans and athletes Trinity have. Both Haltom City and LD Bell have the same type of athletes. Why is it that those two programs have little to no success compared to Trinity? I'll wait. Â And I'm guessing you're not aware of the things Lineweaver accomplished at Commerce. First they're not Samoan they're Tongan. May not seem like a big deal to some but they get very offended. Secondly, it's no where near the same athletes. I live in the area and know players from all 3 schools. The majority of Bell not so much Haltom City players are there because they didn't want to go to Trinity b/c they would have never touched the field. Â Like i said in a previous post. Jasper did take a step in the right direction in the hiring of Barbay, though. It may take a couple of years, but they will get back to being very competitive, in my opinion. You think Surratt would when titles at Commerce? I agree that Lineweaver is one ofthe Top 5 coaches in the State, if not the Best. But when he was at Commerce they had tons of Athletes! The year after he left, Bragg took them deep and then Cron came in and won another title, so their were athletes in the door! Lineweaver has the unique ability of being a players coach and a disciplinarian. He gets the most out of great athletes.
