Bev
i think was johnny baylous runningback not sure spelling pope wide reciever and blisset quaterback Wasn't it (Marcus?) Bolton, whose son is now a backup to Tevin Pipkin at RB? Carthage and Coach Sleepy Reynolds had a good RB every year back then. (The more things change, the more they stay the same.) Yeah Marlan Bolton's son is on varsity but not sure if he's the back up running back. I just found out that Dwight Smith has a little brother that's a freshmen or he's going to be on and he is supposed to be really good.
cowboyforchrist
Nope, not when it counts. I would like to have said that Tatum was better than Farmersville in '07. And could go on to say that "Since it was 19 degrees that night and the wind was blowing 30 MPH that it was detrimental to Tatum", but I won't say that. Farmersville dug deep, played better and came up with a huge catch in Overtime to beat the Eagles. I would like to say that "Tatum should have beat Harmony this past year and won district" but in all actuality, Harmony did what they had to do to get the W and went on to win District. "Good" teams have bad games, "Great" teams overcome everything from fumbles, interceptions, or even bad calls to win games. So, YES REALLY. I hope none of the Lobo fans read this one, they will eat you up. They will tell you quick if you loose a game in the regular season to a team you are suppose to beat, you are no good. cowboyforchrist
i think was johnny baylous runningback not sure spelling pope wide reciever and blisset quaterback The running backs were Donnie Anderson, also the starting linebacker, and Marlon Bolten in 91. The receivers were Pope and Westmoreland, both over 6' 4" They lost Brandon Miliam in the Henderson game, which would of helped big time in the state championship game. He was the leader on the Defense and one heck of a football player.
