I made the jab about the typing because you are the one who keeps talking about education, lack there of, and how yours is so much better....all while not even spelling everything correct in the very post you made the insult. I found that very amusing, lol. And I don't care what comments or arguments I've made in other threads. They have NOTHING to do with THIS thread nor the arguments I've made here. So try and stay on topic!

And I really don't care who's education you would take over mine...I really don't. I make six figures a year, I only work Monday-Friday, I get every night and weekend with my family, six weeks of vacation a year, AND we have been blessed with a wonderful two year old boy whom my wife gets to be with all day every day because we are also fortunate that she is able to be a stay at home mom! So I'd say my education has served me quite well. Thanks!

I didn't say that. I only asked. And the only reason I asked was because someone else made a dig at mine. You said "farm school" as if I should be insulted by that when in reality that "farm school" is a great one. And again, you're right. The ranking of A&M or the fact that you didn't go to Texas has nothing to do with the conversation. Just the same way that the numbers you posted had nothing to do with what Lion posted regarding delusional fans such as yourself. The end. Oh, and I make $2 million a year, I only work 1 day a week, yadda yadda. Sure sure, buddy.

So I guess unlike the rest of the college football fanbase, you didn't see who won the Holiday Bowl??? And look at that, there's that education serving you well again with your spelling, lol. Oh, and the "admitting I was wrong" part....guess you've never heard sarcasm before either.

Man, if you actually think that the SEC took A&M for any other reason other than they simply saw it as a bigger opportunity for recruiting in Texas (yes, I know they do already, that's why I said "bigger" opportunity...figured I'd have to explain that for you), then you are more naive than I thought!

And one last thing, I'm done arguing with you about all this non-sense. It's not possible to have a conversation with you like an adult. You have to make make it personal. You spout off the most ignorant, "Irrelevant" (how ironic, there's that word again), useless garbage...All because you don't like what the person who disagrees with you has to say. It's truly pathetic. It's carried on far too long, and I've allowed myself to carry on with it far too long. So I'm done. If you want to have a reasonable conversation or debate about anything else, I'm completely fine with that. But I'm done with this one. So feel free to comment or reply back if you'd like...I will not.

Again, you insult the wrong thing. That was a typographical error. But I guess if your education has failed you to the point that you seriously think I don't know how to spell the word "has", then go for it. Yes, I made a typographical error. Do you want me to go through all of your posts and find every typo, spelling, punctuation, grammatical, etc. error? Because I will.

And as for the reason the SEC took A&M, they've said that they wanted A&M for their athletic and academic prestige and because they think A&M will be a fit culturally there. That's what the SEC commissioner said. What you THINK doesn't matter. The SEC has come out and said that. If your delusions tell you otherwise, you might be the naive one.

And don't cry. I accept your admittance of defeat.

What do you mean what proof? Ask anybody in the big12. A&M travelled well to every game, even the ones out in Lubbock. We also have a good fan base for other sports, especially baseball, which is big in the SEC.

Not sure what the point of the bolded line was. Trying to be funny? That's about as clever as me making fun of your homoerotic, tassel wearing marching band.

I'd make fun of them for being racists who pick fights with teams who have black players, for defiling statues of Martin Luther King Jr., and naming dorms after prominent KKK members. rolleyes.gif

I never realized horn fans can't see that A&M is a good school with a pasion from their fanbase tshirts and all. The SeC wanted us and will be a great addition to the conference and we will travel well and tv contracts will be better. Guess thats the same folks that thought the Longhorn network was and is a Good idea. If they only took their bunt orange glasses off before they post. The hatred and buthurt is funny from a fanbase they supposed to not care LOL.

This. The SEC came out and said why they wanted A&M. Just because whorns try to tell themselves otherwise doesn't mean anything.

Texas is not a conservative school. That is laughable. Conservative people go there, but it is located in hippie cental.

Politically Texas is whatever you want it to be. I think you would be surprised by the student body at Texas. Two years ago I went to a Easter service at the Erwin Center that had about 12,000 in attendence. I would guess 75% were students or recent graduates.

I will concede Texas has more liberals than A&M. When I look at the other Big XII schools last year, I would rank the liberal to conservative preception as follows:

Texas

Missouri

Kansas

Iowa St

Kansas St

Oklahoma

Tech

Oklahoma St

A&M

Baylor

Now how is Missouri a cultural fit with A&M?

You say the point of this thread was to talk about A&M's move to the SEC and not to troll, but here you are making a post like this. Are you 12? Can you not have rational discussion without resulting to saying aggy?

For a school that some of you longhorn fans don't consider a rival, you sure have a strong opinion and a lot of hate.

....or tu, whorns, etc...(you asking for someone to be rational is funny). That was simply a joke at Mort..

The move will prove to be a dumb, unthought out idea that the Aggies regret long after Lofton is gone.

Professional sports teams =\= college teams. Sorry I had to explain that. The point I was making is that if you want to be a fan of the team, go for it. But if you're going to thump your chest, attempt to talk down at others, and be more obnoxious than fans who went to the school, it really looks funny.

ONly to a Fish Camp Aggie. Nobody else in the world really cares!!!!

I don't know what you're criticizing about my typing... care to share? Cause otherwise, you're just throwing random irrelevant facts out for nothing. And yeah, I will take my education over yours any day, t-shirt whorn. And again, you've posted the overall series record many times, so I brought up the fact that you do that. I don't know why that is so hard for you to comprehend, but it is obvious that you're desperate to try and insult my math skills because I called you a t-shirt fan and that fact eats at you.

A&M is a top 50 or so school in the nation. Where does yours rank? Yeah, prime education for sure, comparatively. Which is hilarious you'd insult my education when it is, you know, better than yours.

Once again, congrats on your Aggie diploma!!! You have a lot to be proud of. It irritates people in the real world that you think it makes you better than others though.

Sorry. I thought defiling statues of MLK, naming dorms after KKK leaders, etc. were racist actions?

Ever seen The Express? Yeah, they got into a fight with Syracuse because they were mad about getting beat by a black player. And yes, film shows the fight did happen at the Cotton Bowl. And that Ernie Davis and other black players weren't allowed at the Cotton Bowl award ceremony so the team skipped.

Well what do you call Aggies vandalizing their own property in attempt to make it look like someone else did it???

The LHN was/is a great idea for UT. Not so much for ESPN. Please explain how getting $10+million a year for 3rd tier rights is a bad idea.....I can't wait to hear this..

I'm on the same page with you on many of the comments you've made, but even I'll disagree with this...somewhat. It may be great for the University, but it couldn't be worse for the fans! Which is who I thought it was supposed to be for anyway.

LoL at the thought keep telling yourself that ignore facts and other folks that uses logic.

That is the reason the poll was started.

There are no facts on this being a good move. Just opinions and they majority of people's opinions say it was a bad move.

It is worse on the fans. But anytime you can pad your wallets to the tune of $10+million a year, I think you have to do it. In time I believe it will be picked up by more carriers.

Akmost broke up the conference. For the record I never faulted Texas for doing it.

How did a bad idea almost break the conference up? If it was a bad idea, why did the Aggies run from it? If it was a bad idea, why is OU creating their own network. If it were a bad Idea, why did aTm go to a conference where schools get to sell their own 3rd tier rights just like the big 12 does?

IF anything the LHN helped get rid of the whiners, gripers, complainers....

I agree I will miss the Lonestar showdown you know your an ok dude no matter what Lobo says lol.

The LSS should not have been thrown out. I don't care what differences the univ presidents may have had with one another. The game is a rivalry, it is important to the fans, and it is important to college football...And any Aggie or Longhorn that says otherwise is only doing so out of hate!

Hopefully, sometime in the very near future, both teams will agree to open up space on their schedules and get this back.

I agree if anybody willing to pay it would be dumb not to sign. A big 12 Network or even a Texas network, meaning A&M, Texas, Tech, Baylor, tcu, smu, houston, would have been better and a lot of carriers would have picked it up.

An affiliation was offered to aTm by UT and Byrne and Co turned it down. They said it would never work.

It wouldn't you know the reason lol.

Maybe you should explain why it wouldn't work since you know.

It would've worked and the aggies look silly, again, for turning down all the money they did, not to mention the exposure it could've/would've brought them.

Wow I love horn fans. Its never their fault lol. Arrogant & Delusional attitude at its best. God Bless yall through......

So, that's all you have as far as an explanation goes as to why you THINK the network wouldn't work?? Really? Maybe you should pipe down about things you obviously have no idea about. Just a suggestion for ya.

Texas pride wouldn't let it work you can't seriously be that naive. If so Lobo97 got some Ocean front property he will sell me lol.

So, you're either saying 1) you don't know and have no idea if the network would've worked because you were just running off at the head or 2) you were lying in your statement that the network wouldn't work. Which is it?

I'll hang up and listen.
