jethro
This will be a good game. Dekalb was much overlooked coming into the season, as was Waskom. Both are sporting respectable district records. As of now the 1 and 2 spots are sealed in the district by Hughes Springs and EF. Battling for the 3rd spot is Waskom, Dekalb, and New Diana. This is a must win game for the wildcats and bears. I believe if waskom can shut down the stud RB for Dekalb, they will win. And with me picking waskom every week so far, I'm not intending on breaking the trend anytime soon. Waskom wins this and keeps playoff hopes alive. Waskom - 40 Dekalb - 21 Waskom Wildcats 2012 Waskom vs Bowie - W 39-0 Waskom vs Sabine - W 32-0 Waskom vs Queen City - W 41-20 Waskom vs New Diana - L 30-20 Waskom vs Paul Pewitt - W 35-22 Waskom vs Linden Kildare - W 48-7 Waskom vs Elysian Fields - L 41-33 Fight hard and continue to be succesful wildcats! Keep Rollin!!
1WildCat
Was surprised no more posts that there is on this game - Waskom 50 DeKalb
jacketparent
Will be interesting to see is waskom can get over the loss to Elysian Fields. I had heard Waskom put all of their eggs in the "Beat EF" basket. EF beat De Kalb by 61 so I am not sure how good they are. If the back from De Kalb plays I am picking De Kalb to keep it close. cowdab
Don't know much about Waskom, so I don't have a clue of how this game will turn out. Stopped by practice at De Kalb for a few minutes yesterday and was encouraged to see all starters practicing for first time since the first district game against Pewitt. Hope that both teams play well and we have a good game.
cotton84
With Waskom's team quickness on defense, I don't see DeKalb breaking too many long runs. I am predicting Waskom 34 and DeKalb 7.
55555
If Waskom contains the 2 backs then.... long night for DeKalb
jethro
If Waskom contains the 2 backs then.... long night for DeKalb Agreed. I believe the key this week for waskom will be pressure pressure pressure! If they can have a party in the backfield every play and blow up the exchange on dekalbs zone read, then it won't be close. BearDad
I see waskom having a issue handling all the weapons that the bears can put on the field at one time. I no no has seen all on the field at the same time all season. So if waskom only game plans on two players then they will be surprised because the bears know what this game means and will put it all on the line to ensure the win. The I'm going to say 28 to 21 DK

LLKOOLA
I think that Dekalb's offense will be a tough one to stop, but when we get going, it will be a long night for DK's offense. i also dont see DK stop our grinding offense. OLEMAN
Waskom is ok. DK is ok. Hope the coaches chose to play the right kids that can make a difference. We will soon see.
1WildCat
Waskom's speed & stout "D" will be the difference in this one. Took it to EF last week, and if nothing else, are a little P.O.'d. Don't think DeKalb will come anywhere near "close" to the 'Cat's!!

SteelJacket
Thanks for the stats...I was curious. I appreciate the research. Your welcome, please note that I modified my post to correct errors. DeKalb's oponents overall record is 20-31not 20-24 as I posted. I also left Linden off of DK's schedule
