Norman had 105 solo and 9 TFL, he's about 5'-10" to 5'-11" tall and weighs 190-195, runs a 4.7, pretty sure he could play at the 3A-4A level no problem.

The kid had 225 tackles. That says a lot. Hard to do that at any level.

Palestine's Jarrell Owens and Brian Thlang invited to Tulsa Junior Day (April 6th).

Frank, Tim McCoy & Levi Thompson from Harmony were both invited to the Tulsa Junior Day/Spring game as well.

Weighing in on your LB options (I'm an admitted Harmony homer, just ask Eagleborn, lol) Thompson would

definitely be a standout at a 4a or 5a school. The kid is big (215lbs.) strong (bench 335) and pretty fast

(APEC timed 4.8). You have several 2a linebackers: Bryant -dfield, Williams- hooks, Hawkins - Arp, Norman- EF,

Gibson - Grove and Thompson will matchup well with any of these guys. I know Long is a stud, but there is

a reason Thompson is getting looks from UNT, Tulsa, etc.. It's tough to get recognition from a tradition

weak program, but Thompson merits it.

That's what I was looking for, someone to make the argument for Thompson. Good stuff. Hmmm. Gonna have to think on it.

Norman had 225 tackles

Gibson had 176 tackles

Thompson had 121 tackles

All play at the 2A level

While Williams had 130 tackles at the 3A level and Long had 80 tackles & 6 sacks at the 4A level.

I feel like Thompson is the odd man out. I'm just not sure if I want to replace him with Williams or Long.

Thoughts?

Frank imo Gibson of the grove should come off. The reason his tackle are as high as they are is so many teams running the same dive plays in the second half right at him with backups playing. Against good 1st teamers he lacked speed and power expected from an "all selection" LB. jmo...

Duly noted JJ. But, he was the district defensive MVP and HM all state. He racked up nearly 18 tackles per game. Dive play or not, that's one heck of an average.

LE's Davion Hall received an offer from Stanford.

Arkansas, Baylor, Notre Dame, LSU, SMU, Stanford, Texas A&M, Texas State & Texas Tech have all offered.

Hall gave a verbal commitment to Baylor on 2/2/13. Will it stick?

Palestine's Jarrell Owens impressed coaches a couple weeks ago at the Rivals camp in Houston

And, it looks more and more like he will be playing linebacker this upcoming season. So, I've moved him to the Util spot on the preseason list.

Longview WR Dorian Leonard receives an offer from Texas.

Two weeks ago, Coaches told em' that they were going to offer if he came down for a visit. Well..got the offer during a visit yesterday. Only 2014 prospect that Texas offered this weekend.

Oregon, Bama and Tennessee are all over Henderson.

Baylor, Florida, Texas A&M, LSU and Arkansas reportedly Newton RB Kevin Shorter's top five college choices.

Arkansas seems to be the favorite at the moment with A&M and LSU very close.

RT

Lol see what I did there? Retweet???? Lol
