Smoaky
Salado has hired Sherman defensive coordinator Brent Graham to become the new AD/Head Football Coach at Salado High School. Graham, a graduate of Mesquite Poteet High School and Tarleton State University, has been the defensive coordinator at Sherman the last four years. Prior to his four years in Sherman, Graham was the director of football operations, recruiting coordinator and secondary coach at the University of Tulsa, while his uncle, Todd was the head coach. Todd Graham is now the head football coach at Arizona State. (Brent) Graham has also been an assistant at Mesquite Poteet and Canton High School. During his four years at Sherman, under Gary Joe Kinne, the Bearkats have made the playoffs four consecutive seasons, including a quarterfinal run in 2011. Graham replaces Glenn Talbott, who resigned in February.
