player73 Posted April 15, 2013 Share Posted April 15, 2013 The Teague Lions moved into a 3 way tie with Mildred and Blooming Grove for 1st place in the 23 2a District race.Teague beat B-Grove 11 - 3 Tuesday and run-ruled Mildred 12 -2 Friday night to move into the tie for 1st. player73 Posted April 20, 2013 Author Share Posted April 20, 2013 Teague beat Riesel tonight 6 - 0 behind a no hitter from Aaron Mitchell .With the win the Lions run their record to 17 -6 -1 and they remain in a 1st place tie with 1 game remaining next Sat against Rice. player73 Posted April 27, 2013 Author Share Posted April 27, 2013 Blooming Grove beat Mildred last night to stay tied with Teague for the District lead as both teams are now at 9 - 2 and Mildred drops to third place.The shocker came tonight as Blooming Grove fell to Riesel.The Teague Lions can clich the outright Championship now with a win over Rice tomorrow night.The game is in Teague with a 7 pm first pitch. player73 Posted April 28, 2013 Author Share Posted April 28, 2013 The Teague Lions won the District 23 2a championship with a 16 - 0 win over Rice.Austin Skinner threw a 1 hit shutout and the Lions scored 13 runs in the 4th inning to put the game out of reach.Mildred and Blooming Grove finished in a tie for 2nd but not sure how that will be determined.
