How many games did you come to probabaly 0 and as far as coaching goes alot of little league coaches could have won with that group we will see what happens next year when he really has to coach.

Could they have hired or should I say rehired the difference maker?

Hey, don't be knocking LL coaches.lol. But honestly, this group could have won 30+ with the cafeteria lady and a good bus driver! But I have heard nothing but good things about the coaches and I think they will do fine. These kinds of ball players don't come along very often. With some young talent and Moore on the mound, they will re- load and win a lot of games next year as well.

Why is coaching being blamed? It looked like to me that Halletsville was hands down the better team. More talent? Maybe not. HS's kids were freaking huge and unbelievably athletic. But Halletsville played the best team baseball.

How many games did I see the Stangs play? Well to be exact, I saw 33 and 2/3 of an inning of Stang baseball. Why did the #5 hitter who had only three errors ALL season not play? Who knows, I would start by asking the guy who is no better than a little league coach that just finished a 36-2 season. Again, three errors don't mean a thing. How many balls did he handle on the season without an error? My guess is this isn't the first time he has been out of the line-up, so three errors could be a lot considering the circumstances. Maybe it is the kid, maybe it is his dad. Dude, I don't know, just saying that I can promise you no coach puts a team on the field that he or she does not feel gives them the best chance to win that day. The beauty of the coaching profession. When you win, anyone could win with that group of kids. When you lose, everyone told you so. It's is no wonder coaches don't stick around for many years in most situations because daddy's know so much more.

HS just couldn't get the sticks going against their pitcher. That's pretty much it. Wasn't the coach, wasn't the line up. Bottom of the lineup for HS was most productive today. Their pitcher pitched a great game. They hit well. End of story. Two best teams in the state. 4-2 game. That's how it should be. Leaving the bases loaded twice is huge in a 4-2 game. I for one could not be prouder of the Mustangs, players, coaches, and fans. Way to go guys!!!

I am thankful to be apart of this great community and most of all this great baseball team! These kids battled to the end and just came up short! Kids hold your heads high and parents be proud!!! Its an honor to do what we did!!!

 

Mustang 11 if you need to talk to me I will work through June and will be there every day from 7:30 till noon! If you have a problem with anything we do or have done come see me! Don't do it on here!!!!! Be proud to answer any question you have I promise.

I have said all i need to say questions jave been asked but no staifht answers. Its over now i can live with what was said could have at least let the kid no what was going on and this i never said a word till it was over so cant say dad eas the reason.

Well coach green, you should probably worry less about a mad parent and more about teaching guys to make adjustments. How many times did y'all strike out on breaking balls that hit the dirt before they even got to the plate?

Looks like he may have been trying to think of what he was going to say in response on Smoaky!! Hughes Springs coaches must be die hard Smoaky fans if they get on here an hour or two after playing in a state championship!

No I think he was just defending his program. Just like you get defensive when people call you a low life tard, troll,splinter butt, metro something or other who claims to be the one who started PP football. It always gets you going. I can see you gritting your teeth now. You always respond quickly with some half witted bs. Coaches have a right to defend themselves just like a.. hats do.

Im sure the coaches were aware of what adjustments needed made. Im also pretty sure it was discussed in between innings. But the last time I checked, the coaches don't get to swing the bat. So its really the batters that have to MAKE the adjustment. HS coaches did fine. HS kids did their best. Nothing wrong with a coach defending himself on a public forum. Its not the first time.

This baseball game was a great game by the two best teams in class AA hands down. It's a shame anyone would play the blame on a social media sight that involves the very ones they care the most about. There is absolutely positively no blame to go around in this one. Halletsville played lights out and hit the cover off the ball. That my friends is called baseball and if you play and watch it long enough these things happen. HS fans would basking in the light if a few balls would have gone different but they didn't.

 

Now, how bout we check our emotions and give credit to two outstanding teams, coaching staffs, and communities for an outstanding year.

I knew this was coming if they got to the State Championship game again and 'Could Not Finish!'

 

Congrats to Halletsville on winning the 2A Baseball Championship and joining the 1980 LK Tigers in the record book!

I will agree I apologize for comments I have made here the kids played great and had a good season. I am a bug enough man to admit when im wrong and will be at field house on monday to apologize in person for letting my emotions get the best of me this was the wrong place to say those things.
