dago29
I know this is mainly an Astros & Rangers forum, but I for one am glad to hear the the Pittsburgh Pirates reached the 81-win plateau tonight. The Buccos win, coupled with a Cincinnati win over St. Louis, gives Pittsburgh a 2-game lead in the NL Central. It's been since 1992, when I was a sophomore in high school, that the Pirates didn't have a losing season. One more win will assure them of a winning season. cheaptrick77
'hope to see them live in Arlington next week ... Andrew McCutchen is easily my favorite Baseball player who does not wear a Rangers uniform ;)
Ratface
Good for the Pirates! And you're right, Cheapy - Andrew McCutchen is a tremendous ballplayer. Somewhere, Mike LaValliere, Doug Drabek, and Andy Van Slyke are smiling!
Stoney
Gotta love their park. The bridge overlooking the outfield. Simply perfect.
cheaptrick77
I jokingly picked a Rangers-Pirates World Series back in the Spring - mainly because I have never been a proponent of predictions that early ... so, I threw out a radical matchup via peer pressure :D Stay tuned to see if I am prophetic ...
