Tatum_DirtyBird
After watching Jefferson in a scrimmage, I really thought they would snag a spot. Unfortunately, they haven't gotten any better since then.

Crockett used to be a top program. I guess it's coaching and having less players in the program.
gtee2
Gladewater and Lufkin. Though I expect LP to make playoff their season has been odd to date...

TheShadowKnows
It used to be if you made the play-offs you were good, now if you do not make the play-offs you are bad.

Having so many playoff berths does have a downside, don't it?
flukeshot
Mt. Pleasant barring quite a turnaround. Had people talking about them winning their district, and now they may finish last.

Lobo97
Tyler Lee. Weren't they #6 at the start of the season? I think only 3 people really believed that, lol. The rest of the realistic world never expected Lee in the playoffs.

topher805
Size. They used to have the big huge o and D lines now its just the athletes kinda like what's happening in Mexia Winner winner... Good young talented players. AJ Phillips is a solid running back and Case Robinson is a good quarterback, but no hosses up front to pave the way. Defense is the same thing. Good secondary and linebackers, but no big boys in the trenches to set everyone up to make a play...

topher805
what was crocketts number turned in last Friday or they going D2? I haven't heard anything. Max is saying around 400 on the official thread. I was hearing short of 300 at the start of school. I do know they graduated a small senior class, and have a large freshman class there. No clue on which way they go on this one...
MoveTheChain
Tied with Longview at #17 preseason AP. Or something like that. Here's the AP preseason and they were at #17, Longview was at #20. budmanmpfan
Mt. Pleasant for sure bc this was supposed to b the best team they have had. Prolly still is athletically but record doesnt show. Goes to show that injuries decimate a team and their chances.

dago29
Oakwood The Panthers had all but one starter returning and they're only 4-4 at this point. Now, that being said they're 1-0 in district and have 2 games left and could possibly run the table. Apple Springs might take the title this season.
