What does YOUR new (2A) district look like?

I've got us (Overton) in a district looking like this:

District ?- 2A Division II
Overton (152)
Tenaha (142)
Timpson (147)
Mount E (102)

What about y'all? What sort of district do you see your former-1A now-2A school landing in?

I imagine Clarksville and Rivercrest will be moving into the existing 8A D1 district, taking the place of Wolfe City (150) and probably Celeste (can't find their number, but 159 last time).

Clarksville (171)

Rivercrest (211)

Honey Grove (162)

Boles (170)

James Bowie (190)

I'm not sure....Padilla predicted that the #'s would be lower than what they are...he doesn't have Centerville included.

District 9
194 Alto
192 Cayuga
170 Cross Roads
170 Cushing
162 Grapeland

District 10
202 West Sabine
186 Hull-Daisetta
185 San Augustine
169 Lovelady
159 West Hardin

District 11
204 Anderson-Shiro
191 Holland
185 Thorndale
153 Iola
153 Normangee

District 12
207 Rosebud-Lott
202 Riesel
196 Axtell
176 Kerens
164 Mart

I'm trying to figure out where Centerville sits in this equation??? I think:

Alto

Cushing

Grapeland

Iola

Normangee

Centerville??? Maybe take Cushing out????

West Sabine
Hull-Daisetta
San Augustine
Lovelady

West Hardin

Thorndale

Holland

Thrall

Rosebud-Lott

Anderson-Shiro

Riesel

Axtell

Kerens

Mart

Cayuga

Cross Roads

Carlisle folks, where y'all at? Think you'll go northward with Big Sandy, Simms-Bowie, Beckville, Harleton and Union Grove or something?

Was out , but nobody else will stand and deliver, so I guess I'm back.

The way they got the numbers this realignment , it's anybody's guess.

Have been with alto-Cayuga a few years back, then with Bowie a couple years, then with joe a couple years.

With Clarksville coming back down again , we may miss Bowie this time and wind up back with Alto-Yuga, depends on who's dropping into 2a west of them.

By the way, y'all keep an eye on our qb next year, kids gonna be fun to watch. Chain out....

My guess is:

Joaquin

shelbyville

san augustine

alto

beckville

west sabine

any thoughts on this

I think Alto probably goes the other way with Centerville, Groveton and Locelady. You'll probably see the regions redrawn pretty drastically this time as well. You could see a CenTex district with Crawford, Mart, Goldthwaite, and Bosqueville, along with two other poor teams.

Grapeland has been struggling. Having to play Alto AND Centerville would be brutal.

I agree it will be tough for Grapeland early but I think Coach Brown has Grapeland going in the right direction. He has a plan, he needs to stick with it and they will reap the rewards later.

I think Lovelady could hold their own pretty well in that district. They aren't far removed from playing for a Regional title and have a solid program in place.

I think ours will stay pretty much the same with the addition of Fruitvale.

Detroit

Maud

Union Hill

Cumby

Fruitvale

Matthias, I was hoping we would stay in the same district with you guys. We have had some pretty good games in football and baseball and building a pretty good rivalry but I don't see it happening now.

Tweet.....according to your district alignment...Centerville would be in District 11....wouldn't put them in with Alto bunch and take Cushing out...they are only 20 odd miles apart.....NOW that I say that...the UIL might do that!!!!!....Many moons ago...Alto was in District with Leon, Centerville Buffalo, Groveton Grapeland, Lovelady...Elkhart....THAT WAS a GREAT district...But old Coach Hambrick when he was at Leon stated that he would rather "fight the western sun" driving than play in THAT district!!!!...and that was when only 2 got out!!!!...and Alto has been in the district with...Groveton..Grapeland..Lovelady New Waverly, Corrigan...NOW I am showing my age!!!!!

I agree! It's been fun, and I imagine we'll still meet up in the playoffs. Who knows what might happen in the next alignment.

BTW, is Union Hill playing 11-man? I'd heard the admin wised up and they were going to six-man.
