Preseason schedules

Recommended Posts

;Looks like a good schedule if it comes about it in about 16 hours. I hope that we do not get stuck with the same district basically. I am ready for a change.

Have you spoken to some one in the know that knows about the proposed district?

Sounds like Longview and Tyler Lee's deal has been nixed.

From the Tyler Paper...

Provisionally, Lee has put together a non-district schedule that includes John Tyler, Texas High, Lufkin and Keller Fossil Ridge. If REL needed a fifth game and they were not in same district, Piske said it would be Rowlett.

Obviously we'll find this out in the next half hour, but is it sounding like we will not be in a district together?

Was talking about Lee becoming a scrimmage this time around.

I think we'll be in a district with JT but just a hunch on my part.

I am suprise Henderson and Nac didn't work something out. Considering Nac was are first ever opponent (100 year Aniversary this year for Henderson) and Nac is the most played team Henderson has ever faced. 1914-2014 39-43-3 in favor of Nac

didn't know that yeah I was surprised too we hardly go a season without scheduling Henderson.

According to Paris News tweets:

Paris: Mount Pleasant, Melissa, Tyler Chapel Hill, Palestine, Dallas Lincoln

North Lamar: Commerce, Whitesboro, S&S Consolidated, Anna, Van

Clarksville: Hughes Springs, Edgewood, Prairiland, Hooks, Leonard

Paris currently has an opening for Week 5. Dallas Lincoln fell through.

Well, that didn't take long. Argyle has filled in for Dallas Lincoln, according to Paris News tweet. So now its Mount Pleasant-Melissa-Ty Chapel Hill-Palestine-Argyle. What a bunch of potential Homecoming patsies.

Oh well, what don't kill ya...

Gilmer fans

We feel your pain. We played Melissa for 2 years. The drive to McKinney is no fun as you will find out.

I've driven through there a few times. North Dallas burb traffic is worse than inner city traffic. Their stadium looks to be about the size of Union Grove's stadium, too. Don't think they have enough room for the Buckeye contingent.
