Eagleborn Posted February 18, 2014 Share Posted February 18, 2014 Teague opened their 2014 season with a 11-1 win over Fairfield on the Eagles home field.Teague's Austin Skinner got the win as he went 5 innings and Aaron Mitchell pitched the final inning.The Lions will play a home and home series with Madsionville this Friday and Saturday.Good win to start the season. player73 Posted March 2, 2014 Author Share Posted March 2, 2014 Teague traveled to Palmer/Ferris for the I45 classic and won 3 out of 5 to push their season record to 8-2.Next up is China Spring on Tuesday and down to Franklin this coming weekend for the big 32 team tournament.This baseball complex outside Franklin is awesome ( worth the drive to see ) and the Lions take on Cleveland at 11 am on Friday to kick their action off.Pitching depth will play a big part in this tournament for sure. player73 Posted April 12, 2014 Author Share Posted April 12, 2014 In Blooming Grove last night Teague beat B-G 11-0 to stay unbeaten in District at 9-0.The win pushes their season record to 17-5 and the Lions can clinch a third straight District Championship with a win over Riesel in Teague Tuesday night.Riesel sits in second place as the Lions got another good pitching outing by the Lion pitching staff last night. player73 Posted April 16, 2014 Author Share Posted April 16, 2014 Teague captured the District Championship with a 13-2 win over Riesel tonight in Teague.It was the third straight District Title under Coach Kyle Killman.Riesel suffered their second district loss and the Indians take on Buffalo later this week for the runner-up spot.Congrats to Coach Killman,his staff and the Teague Lions. player73 Posted April 25, 2014 Author Share Posted April 25, 2014 Teague defeated Mildred 12 - 2 last Tuesday to push their record to 20-5 and remain unbeaten in district play.The Lions will now take on Trinity in Madisonville in a best of 3 series.The games are scheduled for next week Thursday,Friday and Sat beginning at 730 pm.
